morethanadoll: To me, this shows dedication and hard work. I am big into fitness and I workout 5 to 6 days a week. I know how hard it is to look the way that she does and I have to give her a round of applause. She is fit and a beauty! ...5-6 days a week ?...that's some real dedication. I only jog round a football pitch 15x on Saturdays, then some press-ups and sit-ups every other day . Nice job staying fit. We like fit ladies |

He begged us to help him plead no way. He ended up beating her. You never see anything. Better leave such girls ..Bros, that girl gave more, that made me overlook the anger. Owliver: yh I buy that idea violence is bad. But some b\tches hit you stuffs on ya head or abuse your parents and generation now the most annoying one some would lock the door and hide the key. In that case prepare yourself for some beating ... Nothing annoys a girl like the silent treatment. I was injured on my back by a bird. She threw her heel at me after I turned my back to walk away during her rant. I felt like a king when her friends came begging after I refused picking her call for 2wks. She had real anger issues |

Im telling u if a guy threatens u lol not to tlk of hit u his finished
Over here when it comes to relationships , family issue women are mostly favoured Yeah....where a society works. Domestic violence can be curbed from the the family. In my case, we where trained never to lay hands on a lady( you don't want daddy to tell you to kneel down and face the wall, a whole lotta punishment exist. My house was like a military zone ). If I lay a hand on a lady now, she could pass out. I simply walk away at the slightest provocation. |

Lala247: Yh i guess its not a priority for the nigerian government .... More pressing thing on their minds
But its still sad ... Our politicians think solely about themselves. Sadly, the 'Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Bill' was first introduced in 2003. Shows you how serious we are with issues like this. |

Lala247: Hi ppl
Just a general discussion, share your views, experiences , stories......
I have seen and heard women in relationships , where they get slapped, beaten, all sorts of violence thrown at them.
If i ask y they still remain in a horrible relationship they say its cuz they love him?? Some say its normal in nigeria for men to hit ladies behind closed doors .... Why is this acceptable and is there a law in nigeria preventing this...
Comment pls I stand to be corrected, there is a bill against domestic violence/violence against women(can't remember the exact title of the bill), which was passed by the lower house in 2013, and sailed second reading in October by the Senate. Sadly, everyone is occupied with election, it might not be passed by the senate and receive the President's accent before May 29. In Nigeria, law enforcement play little role to quell domestic violence, but FIDA plays a good role to help abused women. On it's acceptance due to love, Nigeria is not unique to this scenario. |
