3weeks? That's too much . I almost had dsame interview application problem, but mine was two weeks of no reply. I was thinking the fault was not from me and I sent loads of reminder messages and pleas even almost cried until i got a reply that i should be very precise in my request. I initially sent a mail like dis
" Dear Sir/Madam, my name is ....
I write to book student visa appointment" (And then attached my docs). I made my request so short and simple so as to save them the time of reading a long message. But after I got a reply from them to be more precise in my request, I sent another request like dis immediately with subject " BOOKING OF APPOINTMENT REQUEST FOR A LONG-TERM STUDENT VISA INTERVIEW
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is ...., I wish to request for a booking of appointment for a long-term student visa interview.

Please find attached the scanned and complete copies of my university admission offer letter, passport data page and prove of finance for one year.
I hope that my request be considered.

Thank you for your prompt response

Best regards." ( and I attached my docs below)

I sent this request by 10am on a Monday morning and got an appointment mail by 9.30am the next day (Tuesday) inviting me to Lagos for my interview in the next two days. I had to travel to Lagos d next morning, luckily for me i was already very prepared for it. I have had my interview (grateful to God), we were abt ten students that came for interview that day and am awaiting the results.
Maybe u should be more precise in ur request. I hope it works for you too.
thanks man i would try that now

Hello house,
First of all i want to thank all the contributors to this forum. Few months ago i applied to the university of Jena and got an admission (Studienkolleg) . i then went on to get my sponsorship letter as my mum lives there. 3 weeks ago i applied for student interview and there was no reply till date. I even tried mailing early in the morning still no reply . i would really like to meet up with my entrance exam date (Jan 29th) . even if i could do the interview in abuja i would really appreciate any help now..
Thanks in anticipation

Eke40seven:
Hello, this is what she should do. Go to the Auslander, Rathaus or Burgerbüro, of where she lives. She should tell them she wants to get a verplichtungserklarung (all my spellings might not be correct).
thank u very much

dear eke40seven,
I have been a silent reader on this forum......well my story is this....my mother lives in Germo and I want to go and study medicine but she doesn't have the £8k yet.I also heard of a way that she can provide sufficient proof that she can pay for my welfare.......i dont think her bank account statement is that strong because i have 2 siblings living there.....I'm currently studying German a2 and I have a really good WAEC result....my question is this... Is there any faster means of getting my visa with my Mumcy as my sponsor.....huh
