yabatech is not a ret*rded dumb*ss like u who doesnt think about applicant conveniency reason why they have to send those stuff to ur email provided u put in a valid one and who do u blame if u cannot provide a valid email cos in this 21st century any student who doesnt hv an active email must be living in the past #FACT.

MIND U the moment u can print ur payment receipt itch-free then u can never have a problem on the exam day except some from ur village is after u and this can only be experienced by a doomed soul like u.

i hv never castigated reasons why some people go fot a coloured printout of their payment receipt but the fact again is that the school did not make that mandatory...... it is only the exam schedule which is not available now that could be printed in coloured provided the school mandate it like they hv done years back and no one will even kill u if u do a black and white printout if the sch does not mandate it.

like i do tell people u can always choose who to believe cos even myself can never be perfect but on this very issue this c*nt tackling me is a low-life

Boadu: The Gurus like prof Olenyi and others will come in later to help. In the meantime though, let me give you my novice suggestion. The software you have downloaded right now will not solve your problem. The only way to get video for the infinity package and others on Amos5, is to track intelsat 68.5E and do the OTA upgrade. The OTA UPGRADE is version 3.12p which is higher than the 3.02p you have downloaded. Nevertheless, you can unzip or extract the file you have downloaded. After the extraction, you will get stb. file. Copy the stb file to your virus free flash drive. Go to Main menu>system settings>firmware>press the OK against the firmware. Leave it for the upgrade to complete. Take NOTE! Should your light go out, your decoder will follow it to the land of darkness!!! I still maintain that, the OTA upgrade is the only solution for now. So track 68.5E with frequency 12522H29950. Here in GHANA, the dish points almost facing the ground. After tracking, just blinsacan. After the blindscan, the decoder will automatically detect the new software for you to upgrade.

my worries is that with this OTA upgrade would yhe option menu still be available

By 2-3weeks to the exam i shall be dropping some tit bits for u guys on how to navigate through any storm that might wana overshadow ur path during the exam period, if strictly followed then u shall smell success. - The Yaba College of Technology is to introduce Computer-Based Test (CBT) in its 2013/2014 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to hold in September.

The Head of Public Relations Unit of the institution, Mr Adekunle Adams, in Lagos on Thursday said that the decision was in line with technological advancement.

He said that the new examination mode would, however, be used alongside the Paper and Pencil Test (PPT).

“This is the first time we will conduct the examination in computer and paper; the world is evolving, we do not want to be left out.

“It is a decision of the board and inline with technological advancement.
“In the future, paper examination will be phased out; so it is to make students computer compliant,’’ he said.

Adams said that more than 20,000 candidates had purchased forms for the post UTME test to hold from Sept.1 to Sept. 6..........

with dur respect i am sure this man adekunle adams is wrong for saying this is the first time Yct would use computer base exam, when i did mine years back it marked the first time so i can authoritatively tell u this would be second time so u guys shiuld not be scared cos there is absolutely nothing difficult in the CBT exam, infact much easier than using pencil i swear down!

it doesnt matter whose card u are using as long as it is internet accessible then u can ride on...... it could be urs, ur dad, ur friend or even foe just ensure u have the card details

I encountered similar problems too when i tried using my GTb ATM card to pay online. After much trying, i was advised by my elder sister to go to the school and do it. So i went to the school and had it done. Though you'll have to pay more. For me, i paid N3,000 instead of the N1,800 that was stipulated on yabatech's site. The issue is, it would be somehow frustrating and cumbersome if you are not using Zenith bank. There are complications when you use other banks other than Zenith bank. Thanks!

well i have taken my time to read through most of the obstacles most of you guys have facing making the payment online via ur debit card, perhaps ATM card like choose to call it. u guys should just get into ur bank and request for ur internet pin... experience has it that getting for gtbank master card is always hectic so i'd advice u go for visa card preferrable with access bank that one u ca easily generate it from the ATM machine. simple!
but if u are still finding it difficult to go about it and u just wana save urself the stress then u can always call on me, coming down to the school and all of these issues would be dealt with itch free and u can just sit back and relax while ur registration would be completed for u.....
