OK I don't know if there is something similar like this topic o......plz people I recently unlocked my Airtel zte modem and I inserted my Etisalat sim so I can use my darling payg without stress cos I have been using it on my pc via my old 3.75g tecno m3's hotspot.

When I connected the device I was getting decent page loading speed den I tried my torrent and idm and to my greatest surprise I was getting 600kb/s compared to the 1.5mb/s I get with the m3's hotspot that'll still shares it's data to 2 other devices (my phone and my dad's phone) I was so pissed off and the funniest thing is that on the modem's application it was showing a download speed of 5mb/s ..I also went to a internet speed site and it showed me 2Mp/s . Could it be because I unlocked it? And where is the 2mb/s speed? It is definitely Not any background process or updates

yeah its probably location cos mine is working fine....try changing the network mode to 3g if it is on 2g and vice versa one way or the other it will later start working
