Fhemmmy: Run away alone or with the kids? cos a man that could leave behind his home for that long wont give a damn or be able to take care of the kids if the woman is not thereEase up fhemmy i was just joking. |
Ive resisted dis urge for as long as i can but i just have to say it! *The woman should try running away too when he finally comes back* whatchathink? |

My family will be relocating to Abuja soon but somehow my mom is worried about the unrest in the north. Is that an issue? Please your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
Eziama is d perfect choice. D area is quite large and very cool. If you are a christian Living word Schools is very good. |
you are welcome. |
8. Pour hot water into a cooler ( as hot as you can bath with without wounding yourself). 9. Put the bowl of warm milk into the cooler, if it floats hold it down with something ( i use breakable bowls). 10. Cover tightly and leave to incubate for at least 8hrs (they write 4hrs on the yogurmet satchet but trust me that is not enough). 11. U can check after like 5hrs to see if d water had cooled down considerably. If it has top it off with hot water (but i dont bother with this when i incubate overnite). Pls don't jolt the bowl. 12. After 8hrs open the bowl and bend it a bit u'll see that d yogurt has set. 13. Refrigerate immediately without turning it for like 2 to 4 hrs but if u want to eat immediately put it in d freezer for at least 1 hr b4 eating. NOTE: one satchet of yogurmet is for 4cups of milk which you'll get with dis recipe. PLEASE dnt finish the yogurt o i know its sweet but dis one as far as im concerned is just the starter for subsequent yogurts. I just use small white nylon and tie as much as possible (4tablespoons each) put in a container and into the freezer. Then whenever i feel like yogurt i just take one nylon and start the process all over again just dat now i mix in the yogurt not the powdered culture. This time around it takes just 5 to 6 hrs for the yogurt to set i just leave it longer for as much as 12hrs depending on how sour i want it. And with each nylon (4tablespoons) i use 4cups powdered milk to 8cups water. It's long i know but once u get the hang of it its quite easy. Happy yogurt making! |
1. Buy powdered milk and powdered yogurt culture (Yogurmet) its N250 per satchet. 2. Boil water and sterilize your measuring cup, spoons, bowl, sieve and pot. 3. Measure out 2cups powdered milk and mix in 4 cups water. 4. Put milk on fire and bring ALMOST to a boil. 5. Remove from heat and allow to cool until warm (when u can hold a finger in d milk for some seconds without getting burnt) 6. Use sm of d warm milk to mix a satchet of Yogurmet then introduce to the rest of d milk and mix properly. 7. Pour the milk through a sieve into the bowl you'll use to incubate and cover. |
Lols@ betty but using a deep fryer helps. |
I can't believe dat my longggg post has disappeared. @idprincess i'll type it again later. |
@rednose.. Bake after kneading?? Hmm dats d first time im hearing dat. What about d first rise n in most cases 2nd n even 3rd rises. Seems u r used to bread machines. |
fellis: Many nairalanders don't cook, they are veteran Iya basiroh patronshehehehe |
My love |
People are just looking no body wants to comment. Abeg if una try am come back and let us know o! Cos i know that a lot of people like moi moi wella. |
ileobatojo: Hmmm, I'd really like to help you out of this important dilemma so let's see.Exactly what i had in mind. |
Really? I also heard that chewing gum while slicing onions helps. |
igbi: thanks breadplanet,i l go for the stand,am in abuja do you know how much it goes for?there are some that can be had for as low as 7k (masterchef n co) and there r some that goes as high as 25k or more depending on ur budget. Just go to a reputable shop u'll see a wide range of stand mixers. |
Well i believe dat whatever is worth doing is worth doing well so i'd advice u to go for a stand mixer its so much more better than a hand mixer n good ones last way longer. Btw u can get a hand mixer for as low as 5k or even less. |
what kind of bread do you want to learn white or wheat? |
@op where do u stay? Is fresh milk available or are you planning to use powdered milk. Let me know so dat i'll know how to direct you if u are using powdered milk cos dats what i use. |
breadplanet: hmmm... I'll try dis first thing in d morning. Not with a crate of eggs o!Made it and it was baaaaaaaaaaaad! So delicious i added a little cinnamon too. Thanks Crazyman. |
Oh oh cant find my nxt post.. Anyways i poured my picked beans into the bowl i used for mixing bread dough n added water and in less than 2mins d skin was so softened that washing it off was not difficult, i couldnt believe it so 2 days later i tried again this time around i added a little flour to d beans and water and in less than 2mins i was able to wash d skin off without much scrubbing. And that is how i wash beans now without stress try it and you would testify *hehe*. Any other ways to make cooking chores easy? Let us know! |
Hello people... There are some cooking chores that when you remember it you change your mind about cooking that particular dish, i want us to talk about them on this thread and possibly find ways to make it easier. For example washing beans for moi moi. I know how many times ive changed my mind about cooking moi moi because of this but guess what ive discovered a way to make it easy! Its was actually discovered by accident... |
Abeg op no vex.. U said d man licked his soup?? So why were you embarrased? He finished eating his eba or whatever n proceeded to lick his soup. What is wrong with dat? Or did he use his tongue?? |
CrazyMan: I don’t really know much about egg sardine, but I would provide you with a recipe on how to make another kind of egg meal.hmmm... I'll try dis first thing in d morning. Not with a crate of eggs o! |
you are welcome.
