Step 1:Connect Your iPhone Unlike the recovery mode steps, for this process you'll want to open up iTunes and connect your iPhone via USB cable to your computer right now, then proceed below. Step 2:Reset Your iPhone Since our iPhone 6 was totally unresponsive, there was no way to power it down the manual way, so we had to reset the iPhone (as opposed to powering off or restarting). It seems that iOS was unresponsive , not necessarily the device's buttons themselves. To reset your iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo appear—but DO NOT LET GO yet. Simply resetting the iPhone will do nothing for you if your touchscreen and buttons are unresponsive with iOS 8 up and running. So, read the next step to see what to do next. Step 3:Enter DFU Mode Since the phone will not power down completely without restarting automatically, entering into recovery mode will not work, so you'll have to enter DFU mode instead. While continuing to hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons, wait until the Apple logo disappears, then after 3 seconds, ONLY let go of the Sleep/Wake button while continuing to hold the Home button . Keep holding down on the Home button until you see iTunes detect it. Note that unlike in recovery mode, where you see the " Connect to iTunes" prompt on your iPhone , you will not see anything on the device when in DFU mode—the screen will be completely black. T here are so many apps out there that it can be hard to decide which ones you should keep on your phone, especially if you're working with limited storage capacity. Sure, you can install and uninstall apps depending on when you need them, but that can be a little tedious . Thankfully, Google is addressing this problem with Android Instant Apps, a way to access apps without actually having to install them. Instant Apps will allow developers to "modularize" their apps, which , in turn, will allow users to download only specific parts of the apps that are needed for temporary use—to view content or make purchases in-app—without having to install it. For example, a friend sends you a link to a site you don't frequent often, you can open that link up in the Instant App instead of the browser version of the website. If it turns out you're a fan of the app , there's a button on the page to install the full version. At Google I/O , presenter Ellie Powers gave the example of purchasing a camera bag from B&H. As she says, she has no need to keep the B&H app on her phone, since she doesn't buy camera bags very often. But with Instant Apps, you can run a web search, tap the link, and see the item you're interested in open directly in the B&H app. Instant Apps also has Android Pay support, so if you like the bag you just have to add it to your cart and use Android Pay to check out in a snap. According to Powers, Android Instant Apps will begin rolling out over the course of the next year. There's no solid timetable , but we probably won 't get our hands on Instant Apps until sometime this Fall at the earliest. The feature will also be compatible back to Android Jelly Bean. Apple just sent out a new update to their iPhones, and while that normally wouldn't have any impact on Android users, the fact that they included 184 new emojis means that the text messages you receive from friends and family members with iOS devices might come across with blank or missing characters. Hoping to resolve this dilemma, developer DespairFactor created a flashable ZIP that installs all of the new iOS 9.1 emojis on most Android devices (though Nexus 5 isn't compatible). So if you 're already tired of missing out on emojis that your friends sent you, here' s how to install the mod below. Requirements: Rooted Android device Custom recovery or Flashfire installed 1. Create full system backup I cannot stress the importance of this first step enough. Before you flash anything , it's always a good idea to make a full NANDroid backup—but that's particularly true in this case, since the ZIP that installs the new iOS 9.1 emojis on most devices also has the propensity to completely disable emojis on some devices, like the Nexus 5. If you haven't created a NANDroid backup recently, it would behoove you to do so now. 2. Download flashable zip Now that you 've created a NANDroid backup, the next thing you'll need to do is download the flashable ZIP that installs all of the iOS 9.1 emojis on most Android devices. From your phone or tablet, tap the following link to grab your copy: . . . . . Check my blog on my profile to get full steps |
Google Photos is one of the best photo management services out there. It allows you to back up an unlimited amount of high-quality images without ever paying a dime, the photos and videos sync flawlessly across all of your devices, and its neural network-powered visual search feature seems like something that was pulled directly out of a Sci-Fi movie. Even with all of these things working for it, the most interesting feature Google Photos has to offer might just be its "Assistant," which allows you to easily create pro-style home movies, animated GIFs, and collages right from your phone or tablet. But as with everything Google does, it's not a feature that has been advertised very well, so I'll show you how to use it below. Before You Begin It goes without saying that you'll need to have the Google Photos app installed on your smartphone to take advantage of any features we'll be covering below. If you don't already have the app, start by grabbing the iOS or Android version: Check my profile for my blog address I dont wanna get banned again |
