yeah same thing happened in my own case. I was able to bring in egusi and ogbonno because they were well dried, ground and put in a transparent cellophane bag and well labelled. I even included the scientific names for both of them and the official at the Australian immigration centre was thoroughly impressed . However not every bag was checked as some people passed without opening their bags. Also make sure you answer any questions asked (while filling out the declaration form on the plane as well as when checked after landing) as truthfully as possible. Safe journey y"all

I just got my Australian visa to study at UNSW. I have been a silent observer of this thread though and I really appreciate the valuable information you all have contributed. I would please like to know if anyone is heading to Sydney in February because I'd really love to make arrangements for accommodation.
