Mr Joe yorubakwe, GEJ decided to run for presidency and not igbos decided to run for presidency.

Igbos have supported others to the presidency and nobody drumed igbo support.

leave igbos out of it.we all know that there is a gang up against igbos since 1970 and that gang up is DOA .
igbos don't give a hoot about the presidency because there is a clarion call for self determination.

where are those people from the other side whose ancestors have brainwashed into thinking that igboland is 'red mud republic' due to ignorance, lack of traveling and lagos-ibadan expressway gutter newspapers.

Nice speech. I am Igbo. In 2011 I pointed out the above to my people, but they did not agree with me. In 2015 I also told them that GEJ should not contest instead a northerner should, otherwise he will lose. They nearly beat me. Don't forget that the problem of PDP originated from GEJ first tenure. which gave birth to Book Haram, Chibike girls etc to make the country governable him. OBJ destroyed PDP by supporting GEJ first tenure against PDP constitution which stipulates 8yrs for each zone. Today they are yet to recover from that political suicide. Chief Igbokwe is point. We have to wait till 2023 and nothing more.

why do you blame igbos instead of GEJ or his Ijaw tribe or even Obj who brought him and supported him.

I don't believe in stereotypes and i don't engage in tribal slurs in the internet, what i observed is what i reported. A lot of young non eastern Nigerians perceive igbos in social media are insultive and rude, especially when the issue of Biafra comes up. My personal observation

when you look at the issue of Fulani herdsmen killing hundreds of Christians in Kaduna,Enugu, Abia,Benue ,Delta,Ogun,Ekiti etc and supported by the Nigerian security forces and the presidency, you begin to see reasons with IPOB that jihad is here in Nigeria.

This is true. Just go through the majority of social media sites and you will see most of the hate speech that goes on there comes mainly from people of south eastern origin. This is particularly dangerous as it is influencing the opinions of a lot of young Nigerians towards the Igbos in a negative way.

what you see on social media is a result of the perceived hate by other ethnic groups towards the Easterners. for year the east has received hate back to back and now they are fed up.The result is what you see.
