OP, trust me, you don’t want to take that route. I live in a compound where same thing is going on. We contribute 1k each and we are 4 flats, and the man has been complaining. People go to his house and pump at will - there is no regulation, and more pumping means more meter consumption. At a point you may even get accused of eating their money, cos you won’t be able to differentiate. I wish I can send a voice note cos the matter choke! My advice - you guys should get an estimated bill for the borehole.

I stays in an apartment that has five 5flat , each flat occupied with 5 different tenants including myself. Before we uses direct electricity which we collectively pays monthly but recently got change to prepaid meter. With each fat with it own prepaid meter. The landlord refuse to bring another prepaid separately for the compound water Pumping Machine.
However the tenants come to dialogue and agreed to tap electricity from my own prepaid meter to the pumping machine in agreement that each tenant will be paying me 1000naira monthly. So I want to know if 5k can be enough to run pumping machine for a month?
