Wdf! Has it now come to this?! |
Na wa o! |
The massaging is not one-off, you have to do it consistently until you see your milk is rushing. Note: the massage for the boobs is not a rough one, the idea is to make heat penetrate and unblock any milk duct that may be blocked. Also, use sponge to consistently wash your nipples incase there are blockages. There is no procedure for the palmwine, just drink it and continue putting your baby to breast while doing all of these. gassbee: |
Sorry about this dear. Get someone to buy fresh palmwine for you so you can take (they should tell the person it's for a new mum, so they don't give you the one mixed with saccharine) Massage your breasts lightly with a warm towel, then massage your shoulders and back with warm towel (by back I mean the spot your breast is behind). Your milk would start flowing few hours after you do this. Glowing1: |

BS! BS!! BS!!! Please Ignore any typographical or grammatical errors o, thank you. I got pregnant in January, it was a very easy one no MS, appetite was cool and all, as a FTM I guess I didn't know I was supposed to be a bit more careful as the pregnancy was still in the early stage, I kept going full throttle, my job is a stressful one and I kept doing it head on! Long story short, we were doing rearrangement in the office in March, and I decided to join in lifting a big table, I felt pain instantly, started feeling period cramps, bleeding started the next day and I lost the pregnancy Fast forward to April, I didn't see my period, I thought sth was wrong, my husband said I didn't drink uda peppersoup and all after the MC, and so my uterus wasn't properly flushed, I kept feeling bites in my lower stomach, my husband went out to buy the peppersoup items for the womb flushing, I told him to buy test strip for me to check if it could be pregnancy, low and behold it was two strong lines. First trimester came with the worst package ever, I couldn't eat, drink, couldn't even brush my teeth without throwing up. The only thing my body accepted was hollandia plain yoghurt, so I kept on taking that to keep me going, while also taking my prenatals. I lost weight drastically - about 10kg. I felt so dizzy when moving about - like I would collapse, the stomach pain was actually very bad at some point and I decided to go for a private scan to find out if all is well - the scan result said the pregnancy wasn't viable and it was a missed abortion. The scan also detected fibroid. I came home and cried my heart out, told my mum about it and she suggested I get a second opinion. I went to another scan centre, low and behold my baby girl was jejely resting and I heard her heartbeat. When I got to the 3 month mark, registered for antenatal at general hospital. Second trimester came and there was very little improvement in my health, I was still throwing up, my body then grew to accepting rice - every other thing must be vomited, so I ate all kinds of rice (lol). I then decided to register for antenatal in a private hospital for more personalised care, as everyone was worried about my situation. The private hospital ran my blood and all and then called to give me a bad report - that the pregnancy wouldn't be sustainable because my blood level was extremely low, I should come and discuss my options with them - I refused going back there. I went for a scan, was told that baby was growing fine, I became more confident. I started doing stuffs to boost my blood and the blood vehemently refused to be boosted so I accepted my fate Third trimester was the easiest for me, at a point I became scared when I read what other mom's were passing through, and I was feeling none of that. No pelvic pain, no constipation, no waddling, only thing was that I was always fatigued. My appetite improved too so I tried to make up for lost times. I wasn't feeling any sign of labour and I was so worried, hospital scheduled me for induction on Monday morning, the 28th of December as I had passed my EDD. I went to the hospital that morning and was told to come back the next day - Tuesday as Monday was Public holiday. I didn't know my baby girl didn't want anyone to stress her with inducement, she wanted to come by herself . Labour started that same Monday afternoon, around 3pm, I was pre advised by my seniors in the game not to rush to the hospital so they won't be chooking hand in my vagina anyhow (lol), so I decided to time the contractions and do light movements. Eventually went to the hospital around 8pm, was 3cm when checked, baby came out around 2am shouting so loudly, and I was given a tear and stitched. Motherhood is a wonderful experience, I pray every expectant and TTC mother's be blessed with this experience. @cappo sunbestie, BS submitted #TeamDecember signing out |
BA! BA!! BA!!! Announcing the arrival of my princess I'm in awe of God's grace and mercy.... Can't stop staring at her.LMP EDD: 22/12/20 SCAN EDD: 26, 28, 29, 6th January. Date of Delivery: 29/12/20. Weight: 3.4kg, VD with tear. BS coming soon. Cappo Sunbestie, please take note |
sunbestie:Cappo me I just dey look o, as the due date don pass like this, Na to go for induction Las Las. I'm a ftm so I don't even know what to expect... I heard being induced is far more painful than when labour starts on its own. I wish labour started naturally for me, I don't know what is preventing it from starting, but in all things I give God all the glory... |
sunbestie:Cappo I'm doing great o, no signs of labour yet o, they are talking of inducing me at the hospital cos the due date I was given based on my LMP has passed already. I'm just confused and trusting in God alone. Merry Christmas to everyone. |
bryanarchie:What God cannot fix, what he cannot do, what he cannot solve does not exist! Fear not, It will end in praise. |
sunbestie:Congrats cappo... Please feed our boy as much as he wants biko... Even if it's a million times daily, else we shall catapult you to your father's house ![]() |
kadreeG7:It's normal. Sometimes, pregnancy hormones can overwhelm the body and cause nausea and vomiting. It can also be something she ate that the baby doesn't like (lol). Some people vomit even up till the 9th month. That being said, if she's feeling feverish or having other symptoms, she should complain at the ANC so she can get tested for malaria. |
Awww... Congratulations dear, pls kiss her cute cheeks for me sugah: |
We are fine o, woke up with slight headache and nausea today, even threw up a bit. Been having some kind of sick feeling all through today too...May God see us through sunbestie: |
sugarcoatted:Congratulations dear, we thank God it ended in praise |
They had better heed Fayose's advice o! This government hates the truth or anyone who opposes them. Better continue with your 'o yes' attitude and avoid problem... |
Nice development, I love the fact that Dangote would have a competitor in the refining sector. Every economy needs competition to thrive, but our government prefer to give one person monopoly over a particular sector. See what has been happening with the price of cement... If na only Dangote go dey refine oil for this country, we go hear am! |
Whatever you decide to do, please don't do a vasectomy. Life is unpredictable... |
'there might be hardship for a little while'. Wicked leaders. Why not put in efforts to mitigate the hardship before such laws? As usual Na the masses gats suffer to build the country... Mtchew |
Just imagine! What exactly is the plan of this government? It seems there's a sinister objective we are not aware of. Leaders who genuinely love Nigeria would not treat her this way, they wouldn't watch her deteriorate in this manner. Now they are obviously denying citizens their right to freedom of speech, despite their terrible performance! They are bent on running the country to the ground!!! So I keep asking... To what end ![]() |
FloraEC:It's a leaf that boost blood production in the body. You boil the leaf and drink the water (which turns red by the way). You can search google for more info |
I took blood of Jesus leaf for weeks, I guess it doesn't work for everyone. I don't know where I can get Hospital too far leaf. I'm presently taking Ugu water, I planned to juice garden egg leaf today, I'll add the liver and beetroot too. Our efforts would yield results by God grace. sunbestie: |
I'm doing great cappo, except for low PCV levels. God is in control. sunbestie: |
The Lord is your strength dear. When eating, don't eat until you get full (e.g. rather than finishing a plate of rice at once, you can eat 3 spoons, after like 20mins you take another 3 spoons, etc). If you eat till you get full you would overwhelm your digestive system, hence the vomiting. Also, make sure your food is well cooked so it's easier for your body to digest, and help your body digest faster by chewing as much as possible. I had same experience and this was what I used to help myself. mydreams25: |
Thanks, God bless you MummyD2020: |
