Politics / Obolo In New Face With John-bright by Brightutoon(m): 7:53pm On Jan 19, 2018
A land flowing with milk and honey, a land vast with human and mineral resource, a land of hospitality, and a land of brilliant people; most skilled, beautiful and outspoken.
Sadly it is a land of civil unrest, a land vast with social vices. A land where brother is against brother; sister against sister; one community against the other, a land where few evil ambitious minds are taking control of the affairs of the masses, a land where politics is trapped into traditional settings and finally a land where vibrant young youths are parasites and creek pirates.
Whichever way you look at it Obolo isn’t united, developed not even safe.
Am writing this piece to admonish, correct and inspire the minds of the youth, organizational bodies, elders, kings and chiefs; politicians and clergy men.

How do we develop Obolo?
This question is important as we all wished for a hospitable and peaceful Obolo but how do we get it?
Development is a gradual process of socio-political and economic growth. Oxford advanced learner denote it as the gradual growth of something so that it can become more advanced and stronger. Certainly we need a strong and advanced Obolo in infrastructures, politics, education, health, entertainment and commerce.
Let me quickly deduce the following points on development;

1. Infrastructure: This involves the provisions of social amenities such as good motor-able roads, electricity, standard place of learning, water, etc.
Obolo lack most of the above mentioned amenities and this is a mess to our dear nationality. Now how do we get them? I will answer this question explicitly when am done analyzing the various areas of development we need.
2. Economical Development: Obolo has a red card in this area. Businesses don’t survive in our land except petty trading. This is because we lack investors. Yea we lack investors because we don’t have the feasible and ready-made resource that will attract them. We have natural resource in abundance but cases of land dispute and majorly political imbalance are the resultant causes of the slide down in economic development in Andoni/Obolo. Most persons from the soil choose establishing their business outside the LGA because the later is not safe, environmentally and commercially incapacitated. Sadly for Obolo others place are growing, booming and illuminating but ours is zero.

Though our major occupation even from Adam is fishing but I tell you instead of people coming to place like Oyorokoto and other fishing settlements for a purchase of our sea products, our people travel to other places to beg or pay for place to sell their produce. This is not their fault but ours. Whether you or not let’s take the blame and make things right. We don’t have a market to sustain and attract traders, even if we do, we don’t have motor-able roads to ease transportation to the soil.
How do businesses strive when there is no financial saving institution – bank; how do we experience economic development when there is no rout to Obolo except by water? How do we improve in economic boom when our fishing resources cannot be freeze, sacked and export out of the country? How on earth will all these come to be when we don’t have a sea port even when we have the largest fishing settlement? I weep for my dear land. Her interest to make her a hospitable, peace and economically conducive environment is burning within me. In my time Obolo will glow for good I don’t know for you.

3. Social Development: Obolo mobolo when will she bolo? When will she blow? We are the cause of our predicamenst. We must collectively share the blame but the good news is that we are the only people to salvage the land. Cultism, political instability, traditional chieftaincy tussle, youth organization crises and many others are the issues of life and of course they are on the rise. Peace is precious, love is powerful and doesn’t hate. Let’s embrace peace and unity. Our indifferences must not always end us in the court of law. It is very shameful I reserve my words.
4. Educational development: We have many brilliant dudes in Obolo and this has earned us high profile in our educational career. Obolo has great professors, lecturers, lawyers, engineers and medical doctors, all serving in different places in the country and some abroad. This is a great plight of success. From this point I will submit that we have a percentage of 40. We must buckle up. We have school dropouts on the street and creeks most of which are now heart harden and they are rampaging and harassing the people. We can put an end to this. Lets engage them into something meaningful, lets sponsor their academic careers, lets connect them into business, lets empower them. We can do a lot to salvage our youths who sees cultism as the only means to blow in life…nonsense!
Our brilliant and intelligent fellows like the sciences and engineers, we can build or create meaningful and world beautiful astonishing machines or vital discoveries that will caught the attention of the international communities.
We have people who have these ideas but there’s none to support them. We must learn to encourage and support Obolo brilliant technocrats.

Other area Obolo is not developed is in sports. Of course we know the importance of the game and the benefit attached to it. Obolo has talented footballers, wrestlers, boxers, table tennis players etc but who is there to support them rise to national and international lane? None. If the answer is really none then we don’t wish ourselves well. We can support them; government can do it as well. What about in entertainment we need to support these talented fellows. We thank God for NUOET. Oboloprince Gls, Prince Idiana and others more grease to your elbow. You can do more better. With them Obolo will have a new face.

How do we develop Obolo?
I have elaborately analyzed few areas of developmental strides which Obolo is lacking. Now the correct question is how do we get them?

Firstly, on infrastructure, it is the government’s responsibility to put these things in place but the truth must be told we don’t have any government meaningful infrastructure in Obolo. Is it the unity road that has been for over a decade? Or Ngo general hospital that is still yet to be commissioned? We have many abandoned projects but if the government will change their mind and complete these…then Obolo will have a new face.

Furthermore, philanthropy: We can get almost all that I analyzed above on how to develop obolo by philanthropy. Take a tour on the street of Agwut Obolo in Andoni, at least the community is better than some communities in Obolo. I am still searching for any federal or state government project on that soil; but if there’s any, I tell you 90% of the infrastructure there were made possible from the wealth of a single man – Comrade Anthony Ntedeng. Other wealthy sons and daughters of Obolo can pick after him. Philantropy is the next approach to save Obolo.

Obolo Unity congress [OUC], Andoni Youth Coalition[AYC], Andoni Development and Social Vanguard [ADVS], National Union Of Andoni Students [NUAS] and other youth bodies across the ethnicity and Diaspora, it’s time to create or invent a benefitting and intelligent ideas that will favor the land. Development from you as a youth or student body must be that which will encourage and put positive challenge to others to put after you. Contribute your quota in finance, ideas and others in the development of Obolo.
WE NEED IDEAS, WAELTH AND MEN WITH GOOD HEARTH TO SALVAGE OBOLO.
I JUST DID THE LITTLE I CAN. GOD BLESS OBOLO.

Education / My Concern With NUAS by Brightutoon(m): 11:23am On Dec 09, 2017
MY CONCERN WITH NUAS I want to personally appreciate the apex student’s body in Andoni – National Union of Andoni Students [NUAS]. Ever since the existence of this body motivation, good performances of greatness were experienced in the lives of Andoni students and youth entirely. Before I came to being, NUAS was already formed. I've not glanced through her laws but I want to appreciate her policy strategies and modus- operandi. She is a nice body to be identified with. I believe so much in her; sometimes when I glance through her annual national convention program, I'm really amazed with the caliber of persons now who were once leaders of the body; also in her Ujama magazine I do see brilliants articles written by Obolo students. This connotes that Andoni students are not back bencher's in school. It shows high sense of literacy. Obolo mtop. Like those who once served NUAS some years back, some are into professional career [medicine, engineering, law etc]; others are civil servants, professors and top government officials in state and federal level. This simply depicts the amount of sweet ingredients of life that she [NUAS] has deposited into Andoni students. I must commend the founder for a job well done. It is not easy to establish a foundation. Lots of resources has gone and still going just to ensure the continuance existence and functionality of the body in carrying out her primary and secondary duties and reasons for her existence. I whole heartedly look forward to serve NUAS someday. Every establishment has its own weak point, same with NUAS. Certain wrongs must not be allowed to stay. It must be corrected now. The area I am going is the EDUCATION & HEALTH PROGRAMME which features seminar, quizzes, easy writing and debate competition. For all I know, the body is trying but more effort should be fueled in. The conduct of these academic activities must be looked into, reshaped and standardized. NUAS as an apex student union in Andoni is big enough to employ digital gadgets to facilitate the conduct of the quizzes. Projectors can be used; Nigeria Cowbell Mathematics quiz standard can be borrowed. This will make the whole exercise more matured, interesting, challenging (competitive), transparent, void of malpractices by the students and of course the officiating officers, and worth participating by 90% of secondary schools students and the public. Issuing of results to participating schools should not be framed to favor any community school because of one selfish reasons or the other. I've witnessed misappropriations in later years of the program. This must be stopped and erased from the minds of top officials. Best student in any of the activities (debate, easy writing, science and arts quiz) can be awarded with scholarship of any kind like payments of Waec registration or Jamb form. NUAS can also offer best students laptops or any other tangible academic materials. This will encourage them more and place their minds into doing more academic works. Let's lay a better foundation for our secondary school students. Most of the social nuisances [cultist] in Andoni are secondary school dropouts; some did finished but have no zeal in furthering ahead. NUAS can do little in her capacity to reduce or stop this. Our students should be encouraged and empowered. Secondary school is the basic foundation; let's encourage them and their parents to see education as the best thing anyone can have to make the society a better place. I will also use this medium to preach peace across to all Andoni/obolo youths who will be attending the December national annual convention and thereafter to follow the path of love and mutual understanding. Let's shun violence. NUAS poll must not be a do or die affairs. Technology should also be employed in this area to ensure electoral malpractices are curbed out and it will also make easy the whole process. Furthermore, i call on the state government and relevant security agencies ensure peace and harmony is experienced in Andoni. Enough of the killings. This is my little idea. Career / People And The Leaders by Brightutoon(m): 12:32am On Oct 17, 2017
People are your backbone. You can't do without them, even if you do, you won't last longer. There is much power in the people surrounding our atmosphere, even the Holy book says "in the want of the people is the destruction of the king". A king without elders is a king that is before destruction. A king who doesn't listen or apply the opinions of his elders or King's maker is a wicked man who will be destroyed.
A success in leadership is a success in people. People are our greatest resources on earth. We must value the people around us not minding their abilities, physical beauty, political interest, religious belief, economic/financial prowess, temporary societal positions. Yea it is temporary because no one gat the future. We must value them much more than ourselves. What makes a successful leader is being a master in people's skills.
Understand the people you lead, People like to feel special, honour and affirm them always. Inspire and give them hope for a better future by believing in them. If you inspire and believe in the people you lead, they will succeed in their endeavors. People needs to be understood, listen to them. When you stop listening to people, you automatically loose your right to speak to them. Even if you do, it won't sink into them. Some people lacks directions; navigate for them. People needs help;help them. People can make mistakes; forgive them. Take people to the top with you. While praying for yourself; pray for them too. Don't feel so superior above them because you are their leader; I tell you if they want you down they will do everything within their reach.
May you be a leader of the people. May your leadership in any area you found yourself be successful and people centered. Don't be a leader by name but a leader by works. God bless you.

Am glad to share this piece with you. On the 22nd of December, 2016 I was moved to pen down some piece. I believe you will enjoy them when you finished going through it.

THE LIFE OF AN ANT( one good side)
Text: proverb 6:6-11.

6.Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7. Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8. Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest
9. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11. So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

Ants prepares for raining days. She works tirelessly during sunny days.
Stop sleeping think and activate.

For you to become successful person you must learn. how to plan very well for raining days.

Attributes of Successful people.

1). They are philanthropic. In every rich or successful man there must be a philanthropic side ~Apostle Johnson suleman.

2). A successful person must work with successful people.

3). A wealthy man's riches is gotten from the labour of the poor and average men.
The sweat of the poor and that of the average men is the riches of the wealthy.
Do you know that without people on Facebook,.Mark Zuckerberg won't be rich as he is now?.

Without people working for Aliko Dangote he won't be rich.

Starting thinking and making plans towards becoming an employer of labour and not an employee.

If you you need riches invest in lives. If you want money give money.
Rich people don't invest in rich people's lives rather they do so in the poor and the average men.

Create jobs for people to work under you and you will be successful. If you don't create jobs for people to work under you, some other persons will employ you to work under them.
You cannot become too rich if you live your life under a monthly salary.
Monthly salary from an employer is good but if you want to be greater invest that money in lives and monetary enterprise.

As a Christian you need to invest in the following ways

1). invest your money to God (tithe).
2). Sow seeds to your pastor(s). They are your spiritual guides.
3). Bless orphans, widows, widowers and the needy.
4). Create impacts in peoples lives.
After the above tips, you can now invest in any other monetary enterprise you want.
The above investment strategies will unlock your financial success. You will start becoming rich and successful after you might have applied the wisdom.

Note: A rich man is the guider and overseer of others.
You need people to help you actualised your dream. Gather them and assign to them what to do at your own profit then at the end of the month you pay them. That's how it works.
I believed you have found this piece interesting.. You can reach me through the above email address.
