Forget what to they post on social media. Portharcourt is very safe. I have been living here since 2022 and I can tell you that it's a calm and beautiful city. The houses are very standard and affordable while the power supply is very good compared to when I was in Lagos. We have power here at least 21 to 23 hours everyday. There are plenty good schools here. No flooding at all. I haven't seen any.

I was transferred to Portharcourt from Lagos in 2022. I am so loving it here. In Lagos I was paying about 1.7million naira a year for a one bedroom apartment but here in Portharcourt I live in a standard 2 bedroom for 850k

Please elucidate me. Is crime rate low? Is night life superb and safe? What about school for kids, is it moderate? Are the people loving? What about flooding?
