Arrest of 9 Notorious Armed Robbers Terrorizing the Federal Capital Territory Abuja and Recovery of Exhibits, Stolen Cars and their Operational Weapons:

Upon receipt of complaints by one Pastor Davies and several residents of Mabushi area of FCT, IGP Ibrahim K Idris directed the Intelligence Response Team IRT to track and apprehend the culprits terrorizing the FCT and environs to book.

IRT Operatives ummediately launched a massive manhunt against the robbers and eventually on 22/5/17, one of the gang members, Lawal Peter, 25yrs old was arrested with one of the stolen Infinix Hotnote Phone. Suspect Lawal Peter confessed to the armed robbery and led IRT Operatives to their hideout in Mabushi FCT Abuja where the following gang members were arrested;

Emmanuel Adole,26yrs old,a native of Otukpo Benue State who Sold the stolen camry of the Pastor for 400k, Ojuma Onoja,24yrs old,a native of Kogi State who was in posession of 2 robbed phones and a gold wrist watch belonging to the Pastor, Danjuma Mohammed,30yrs old, Dickson Uche,21yrs old,a native of Abia State and Ali Abdul,24yrs old,a native of Kano State.

They were all arrested in Mabushi FCT Abuja. All suspects confessed to several armed robberies in Abuja and led IRT Operatives to Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers States on 27/5/17 where the Following gang-members were also arrested; Friday Emmanuel 28yrs, Akaninyena Etukdo 32yrs, Ikechukwu John 32yrs and Joe Effiong 28yrs. One Samsung Galaxy, one Infinix Hotnote, one Nokia phone, a gold wrist watch and Toyota Camry 2010 model belonging to the Pastor and 6 other stolen cars were recovered from the robbers. Their operational house breaking and car jacking tools were also recovered. Serious efforts to arrest the remaining fleeing gang members and recovery of more stolen goods in progress.

According to a report shared by Nwosu,3 members of badoo cult group were caught in the early hours of today(think he made a mistake in the month).They were burnt to death.Their car was also said ablaze.Below is what he wrote...

'Reporting live from odogunyan area of ikorodu, three members of the badoo cult group were apprehended at the very early hours of today Sunday 2nd of July 2017 and were lynched with immediate effect, according to an eye witness report, stones used for their operation was found in their vehicle.

We can here people shouting, NO MORE BADOO, BADOO MUST GO'.

'Below is the vehicle in which the Badoo cult used in operation, as soon as they were caught, their jeep was set ablaze by angry mob in front of odogunyan Bale's office while the cultist were taken to shagamu express way and lynched. Community were seen celebrating at the capture of these men as youths were also seen with axe cutlasses with other instruments chanting war songs and raining curses upon them butchering them even at death.

The Igbo Community in Borno State on Saturday held a peace meeting with the people of the state and both sides condemned the eviction threat issued by the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF).
The Arewa group had weeks ago issued a three months ultimatum for the Igbos to vacate the 19 northern states. Its threat followed sustained agitation for the secession of the Igbo states of the Southeast Nigeria by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB.

The eviction threat was widely condemned by different groups and state governments across Nigeria.A Maiduguri-based nongovernmental organisation, Borno State Progressive Associations, initiated a meeting between the host state and the Igbo Community.

Speaking at the meeting that was attended by government officials, traditional chiefs and clerics, the chairman of BOSPA, Asheikh Mamman Gadai, said his group initiated the meeting because they believe in one and indivisible Nigeria.According to him, the IPOB agitation was needleless and should be condemned by the Igbos and other Nigerians.
He also said his group had also dissociated itself from the threat of the AYCF whom he said did not act on behalf of the northerners.
He said BOSPA stood by the earlier statement of the Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, who led in the condemnation of the eviction threat of AYCF, a group he said was “unknown”.

He appealed to the two groups to draw lessons from the bitter experiences of the civil war, which he said had left deep scar on the face of Nigeria.

“The Igbos are our brothers and sisters with whom we have been living together peacefully and in harmony,” he said.

“Borno is the home for all Nigerians and we wish to assure the Igbos that they are safe in Borno and they have nothing to fear.”
The representative of the Shehu of Borno, Zannah Boguma, went into memory lane to emphasise how the Igbos had been part of the Borno history dating back to pre-colonial days.He said the Shehu of Borno wants the Igbos to live freely in the state
