For appointment booking with Qlife family clinic,you will need to send them a mail,addy:usmedicals@qlife.com
They will respond to you and give you procedures on what to do&co,attached herewith is a copy of their medical fees as at november 3rd that i visited them to make enquiries from their customer services

Complete and submit your DS160....what's stoping g you.
When you are done submitting, you will get the application confirmation. If the number us different from the appointment confirmation number, call the customer service of travel docs and tell them the application number does not agree with the appointment number, they will ask for the number and correct it for you then they will send you another appointment confirmation by email.

Well, I don't know how you did yours but I completed and submitted my application before I booked my interview.

When you submit your application, you will get a confirmation and the confirmation comes with a number. You will see the number clearly on your application confirmation. It is this same number on your application confirmation that will also show on your interview confirmation after you have booked your interview date.

@sharpman pls i hve already gotten a appointment date (scheduled) but yet to submit the ds160 form,heard the barcode number that comes after submitting the form must tally with the appointment letter, is it true in this my kind of case can u pls shed more light on it?also the number on my appointment letter comes with both numbers and alphabets..if it doesnt corresponds with each other what can i do in this case ?thank you

My petition validity was extended without me even knowing. It was when I got my Passport that I saw the extended validity on the Visa Stamp.

@@legitBachelor aside from paystub,affidavit of support from my fiance is it compulsory i get sprinsterhood certificate here? amongst other documents I am to get/do?also pls can u guide me through how to print our chats via web from whatsapp cos we communicate mostly via whatsapp calls,videos&chats..thank you

Okay @legitbachelor thanks for the response which supporting documents did you take along to show one is justified/qualified for date extension?only copy of the emails sent&received from them?
Also i just found out now my fiance has not submitted the ds160 form tho already have my appointment confirmation,i have read on page 76 or so of this thread where issues of barcode number and appointment number not tallying and had to call the embassy for correction which they got another email with corresponding codes,hope am still safe there cos i thought submission of form should come first before booking appointment but since its diff this days reverse is the case..your opinion on thos would be appreciated God bless you

Had my interview today

Got to the embassy at 5:30 am for my 7:30am appointment ,heard everyone including the security talking about the new fees of 40700 once your visa is approved and no one could explain what visa category needed to make that payment ,so I had to rush back to the hotel and got my atm to withdraw from the bank ,the guys outside were helping people for early interview withdraw and charged 1k.When I got back did normal security checks given number 14.

Went into the main building, submitted documents at window 16 submitted appointment letter ,Ds160,medicals,police report, tax return,w2,paystub,birth certificate ,gave me back some evidence my fiancee submitted to uscis and told to sit and wait for my number,there are seats for immigrants to sit and the non immigrants stand.

There were only 2 officers to interview immmigrants and they were approving people ,by 9am i was called to window 17.

Why not marry in Nigeria ,didn't ask to see any document ,then he gave me 2 papers one for my rights in america and one circled where to pick up passport and visa would be ready in 2 weeks .

Thanks everyone that assisted me.
I called the Embassy, I was told that the expiration date on the petition means that one must secured an interview date before the expiration date, that it doesn't mean that one must be interviewed before that date.
If anyone didn't secure any date before the expiration, the approval becomes invalid.

The Embassy also gave me CGI to call for correction of the mismatch between my Ds-160 form barcode and my appointment confirmation code. The CGI also corrected it and sent it to my mail of which I have printed.

Pls @studyforlife i have similar issue,i was able to see dates january 6th 2020 for my interview while my approved petition expires 21 dec,all effort to get dec dates proved abortive,i have written the embassy in lagos as regards this and was told would get a response in 5/7working days,pls can u give more indepth clarification as per what they told when u called ,that one must secure a date before expiration of petition and not necessary one to be interviewed before the date,pls shed more light as am worried and line to call@the embassy..thank you

@@legitBachelor i once wrote u on this thread sometime last month as regards my approved k1 petition/waiting on the lagos embassy to write when they are ready for final processing of the petion,they eventually wrote my fiance 28th october that they are ready for processing and i should quickly make payment for the visa fee and must attempt to schedule appointment with validity period of the 129f pettion as it hve 4months validity at post and co,immediately two days after did the necessary and tried scheduling appointment could even get a available slot(app date)i kept checking every morning noon and night until a 6th January date pop up had to quickly pick it before no date pops up/jan gets filled up again.. my fear now is my petiton validity expires dec 21st and my appointment is jan 6th,hve written the lagos consulate via email and automated response replied me with diff options and that my querry lld be responded to in 5/7 working days.. my question now is do we have anyone or know anyone here with similar case who attended the interview after expiration and the date was given the visa,what were the documents asked for to show the person is qualified or justified for a date extension on the petition?how the interview went and co?thanks @legitBachelor

Yes you can wait. Your k1 visa interview date might not even be possible this year anyways.

However I advice you should be proactive with the us embassy guys concerning your casefile. Keep tracking it on the website I had provided earlier. Once it says your casefile is READY, you can do an email to the us embassy (LagosIV@state.gov) requesting your Packet. Once you get the go ahead from them (hopefully you'll get the go ahead before your casefile expiry date), you can then schedule the earliest available date which most probably will be around January or February.

@legitBachelor goodafternoon glad i saw this thread pls kindly help proffer suggestion on this case too,NVC sent NOA letter to my fiance that the case file has been approved (approved&created sept 18th 2019)and sent to the consulate in lagos,on the letter has my case number and iscis receipt no ... on checking the status on their site oct 1st the status on their website says 'ready' ,but my fiance is saying the consulate in lagos would mssg him(a letter which lld carry info on the interview date&medicals)however few pple has advised i go pay visa fee,book appointment and go do medicals that waiting on embassy to write fiance or send my package on its own can take forever,as at this morning 20th oct check the link above in your prev thread it still says my case file is ready for an interview.)&am me&fiance is yet to get a package letter from them,sincerely from the first day of filling in april i have never been worried other than now am confused as what to do as the first NOA approval letter notice letter says valid from august to dec 21st 2019.. pls kindly advise and if i am to mail the consulate in lagos ,how do i go about it ,the format and their mail addy.. thank you i await your quick and concise response..
