Vicjustice:

Your job and occupations are ok, but these sort of compilations by which you intend to accumulate the fund for the travel puts you in the position of disqualification.

@ vicjustice, thanks for your reply, just as Lexusgs430 and justwise have advice, I'll just wait for some time to build my account.

Don't be in a hurry, its just a holiday, not medical treatment or conference, build up your bank balance from now to Oct-Nov, that will increase your chances...keep your salary account for salary only...

@ justwise, thank you for your time and advice.
I'll just wait till then.
Much appreciated

It's very reasonable, use the intervening period to organize and collate all documents.
NB: Remember monetary trail and not lodgement.

@ Lexusgs430, thanks for your time and advice.
Much appreciated.

What I would personally suggest is, either you set a couple of months target, to get the bank statements up to a decent standard or apply jointly with your husband.

Thanks again Lexusgs430, I think I'll just wait for sometime as you suggested by then I'll have like 1m which is reasonable I guess.
Thanks for your time.....its much appreciated .

Your chances are slim, give yourself the next 6 months with your new salary range...spending 400k in 10days on your current bank balance is crazy.

Thanks a lot justwise, but my husband wants to give me 500 to support myself, how do I go about it? And how will it not look like money lodgement. Thanks again.

The issue I foresee is convoluted financials. From your explanations it seems after factoring all the expense you would incur for your planned trip, your account would seem bare.
And their lays the problem. Not unless some financials amongst your request, I do not understand.

Thanks a lot Lexusgs430, the account would be empty as you stated but my husband is willing to give me 500 but i guess it would be money lodgement, any advice on how to go about it?
Thanks again .

I'm sorry I didn't read your question properly....pardon me.
Amount I intend spending for this trip is 400.
I have 200 in my account now and will get 200 for this month salary and the bonus 200 making 600 upon application.
But I was informed by HR that my leave allowance won't be paid until after my leave. So is this okay?

Lexusgs430, do you think 400 will be okay for this trip? I intend staying for 10 days.
Thanks .

I don't think you can afford to travel now, you probably will be left with nothing after paying ticket let a lone hotel accommodation in the UK

Thanks for your reply Justwise ,but I'll be having 600 and I don't want to spend more than 400 , I'm getting only 3 weeks leave and I intend staying for 10 days.
How much do you think will be okay for this trip?
Nothing extravagant oo.
Thanks

How much would be available for your trip and what would be the cash balance in your account upon application?

Thanks for your reply, I'll be having 500 in my account upon application, but i do have another source of income cos I sell shoes and bags and people pay into my account just that it's not a registered and I don't want it to look like money lodgement.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site but I'm a big fan.
Now I had to join in order for me to ask this question.
I wanna visit the UK this April, I've read through the general visitors page but I need some clearance on the following points.

1) I work as an executive marketer for a pharmaceutical company ( just got promoted last month)

2) take home after tax is 150 but will be 200 this month end due to new salary.

3) I currently have 200 in my savings account which is my salary account as well

4) sometimes some lump sum ( like 500) gets to my account from hubby but it's not sitting in my account. I normally spent it all.

5) I'll be paid 100 for my leave allowance.

6) And recently my boss said I was due for some bonus ( huge amount like 200) cos she told me if I make up to10 million nairaland sale on a particular drug I'll get 2 % bonus .

Now my question is,
1)won't all this money be seen as money lodgement

2) what are the chances of the result being positive cos I plan on using hotel reservation cos all the uncles that can write invitation letter are saying they don't have good bank statement. .

I'll appreciate all of your response. Just wise and all. Thanks.

NB: my boss is willing to writ a letter concerning the bonus and leave allowance.

Nobody has replied me oo. Justwise and all the gurus in the house, anticipating your reply. Thanks
