Completed my solar carport yesterday, before on the roof maximum - 3.2kw yield

Today - 3.9kw to 4.2kw maximum full panel yield.

Solar carport is the best, won't be mounting on the roof ever, the Voltage loss is too much on the roof

It's adjustable but it's best to leave it at the highest. Let's say 1.5kw per hour and the food will cook before an hour

The Bushburgh is so good. 2.2kw on start up and then fluctuates from 900w - 1.6kw when it's cooking food and it cooks so so fast. Haven't used my gas since it came. I recommend, it's awesome

Yes, infared cooker will take any pot.

There's an infrared cooker by Mama Home called FRED.
I'm using this and the performance has been greet, don't know why it's not been talked about much here.

Update : I had 4 550w iwin energy panels earlier and I bought 3 590w Jinko panels on Friday and did carport on the 3 Jinko panels and left the 4 already connected on the roof like that. The installer did a series connection on all the panels. Although the weather wasn't good enough like that, I saw a whooping 2.9kw, almost reached 3kw before the sun went down, I haven't seen this type of yield before, it was flowing seamlessly,my inverter fan no longer makes that loud sound whenever sun comes up, the fan is just flowing smoothly and quietly , I think I should be getting more than 3.5 -3.6kw out of 3.9kw panel yield. Will bring down the ones from the roof and carport them too. I now see the reason why people go for Jinko panels . It's so amazing, I'm so happy, will upgrade my batteries soon.

Apart of the cost difference ( that is if there are differences really) that 40w difference will not make a difference at the end of the day. The 590w panels will just yield like 550panels if connected in series

This induction cooker gets really hot so fast I'm tired of burning food. Now na 800w I dey use and it does the job well.

Yes, I said your panels should be at least 6, so if you can make it 7 or more the better so long as the total PV does not exceed 450V. Hybrid inverters rely mainly on panel voltage(dc) to generate AC power (Wattage) and normally convert the excess voltage to current.

You will have to increase your panels to at least 6 for you to get better energy yield from your panels because from the specifications on your inverter, your PV should be at least 240v and I’m sure that your current 4 535W panels can’t produce that. Highest you can get is 40v x 4 = 160v. This is the reason for your poor solar energy harvest.

You're on point. The highest is 162v. Are you saying if I get 2 more panels I'll get maximum PV yield from the panels? What if I add 3 more 615w panels

we can't know if it's too much without knowing capacity of your external charge controller / hybrid inverter.

Sharing with us clear picture of the sticker would go a long way.

Also wouldn't suggest blindly increasing your solar panels except you sure your current consumption exceeds what's been generated. You don't wanna generate 3kw and end up barely consuming 30% of it.

My current generation on 4x550w is 1.3kw max and it's honestly not enough cos I don't do use some things I would like to do in the afternoon like AC, ps5 etc. I prefer the battery to be filled up first before using those things. I would be able to use 3kw comfortably.

If connected in series, the 615w panels will operate as 550w panels. If you can afford it, get a separate charge controller or just assume you're using 7 550w panels. I think fouani have 585w panels now.

But before that, you can share your inverter's specification.
