Many students install Windows 11 thinking it’ll make their laptops faster. But on 4GB RAM systems, it actually slows down 😅. Anyone using 4GB and still fine?

I’ve seen many students install Windows 11 because “it looks modern” or “it came with new icons,” but some of those laptops begin to slow down badly later.

Windows 11 is not just about the look it’s built to work with newer hardware. So if your laptop doesn’t meet certain standards, it’ll struggle.

👉 Before installing, check these:
• Your laptop must have TPM 2.0 enabled.
• Check Secure Boot (inside BIOS).
• Have at least 8GB RAM and preferably an SSD for smoother multitasking.
• Make sure your processor is 8th-gen Intel or newer (for AMD, Ryzen 2000 and above).

If your system doesn’t pass all checks, don’t worry. Windows 10 will still get security updates, it’s still safe to use.
Upgrade when you can, but for now, focus on performance and stability, not just aesthetics

As a webmaster or freelancer, your computer is your “office.” Once it breaks down or updates start failing, you lose time and time is money.

Many people rushed into Windows 11 upgrade thinking it’s a small UI change. But Microsoft quietly tightened the system requirements, especially around security (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot) and processor generation.

If your laptop is older than 2017, it might still run Windows 11 unofficially but you’ll likely face issues like:

No driver updates

Random blue screens

Incompatibility with virtual machines or dev tools

To avoid all that headache:
✅ Use Microsoft’s PC Health Check app to confirm your device is eligible.
✅ Check your BIOS settings to ensure TPM and Secure Boot are turned on.
✅ Always back up client files before major upgrades.

Windows 11 is excellent for productivity, but stability matters more than looks.

You no longer need editing experience or expensive software to create clean, engaging educational videos.

Power banks are mostly for emergencies. The one that pains me the most is some will buy new phone today and use power bank to charge it immediately. This is not good at all.
