helinues:You ain't correcting anything. I expect you to answer as self-acclaimed mature man. Unfortunately, you don't have answer to the question. |
I just wish this is how we all reason in Nigeria, unfortunately, it is all about I don't care attitude. Imagine, today is the 27th day, and we are still not positive about their whereabouts. Public schools and some private schools in Oyo have shut down for 2 weeks now, still no action from the government. Everybody still continues their ways of life. Are we even cursed in this part of the world? You will still some mofos supporting inept government that doesn't give a damn about their lives. I want to know whether they will start their campaign if all these are not fixed. And I want to see unfortunate persons that will still attend their rallies. |
One of the disadvantages of dating a content creator... everything you do will be news the following day. |
I don't really understand the concept of second term? It is for what? If you have done well, why the second term? To do what next? And if you have failed, why the second term? I see it as a compensation. Unfortunately, we have Nigerians that don't believe in time. Someone is wasting your years, but tribalism and religion with gullibility will still let you be hailing the person. Nawao. |
helinues:Thank you. I have confirmed what I want to confirm. |
helinues:If he has tried as you have mentioned, what is the essence of his second term? Is it to compensate him? Is he to repeat all what he has done right, according to you? Or becuase it has become a norm? Just be sincere. |
Like I do say, Nigerians will fight when they are tired. But now, let us just watch them as they are riding us. Let's the wisest of us thinks supporting the oppressors is the way of showing love to the country. And let the most foolish of us thinks that being silent is golden even at the face of Injustice. When we wake up, we start from where we slept. |
HacheNoire:Educator, I understand your context. But must we defend everything? The Nigerian government benefited from the war than to have her inflation still increased. The windfall alone is a typical example. If you truly love this country, you won't be defending the leaders. Thanks, Mr. Educator. |
MIKOLOWISKA:Lol .. I dare you not to delete my replies again. And I am challenging you on any topic if truly you are loaded. Please, don't reply except you have accepted the challenge. |
MIKOLOWISKA:I won't reply you until you write correctly. Have you ever seen a lion fighting a dog to prove superiority? Please think this time before you reply. Happy Sunday. Shalom. |
mikeapollo:Okay. I understand you. I just want to stay neutral in this war, and make it clear that it is not a religious war. Citing a biblical verse in support of Israel is out of context. I understand how Arabians have been fighting Israel ever since 1948 it was established. In fact, Egypt fought it not up to a week of its establishment. And how Iran have been betrayed by the West, notably France and the USA before. This means, the fight doesn't start today. |
But at least you should understand the context of the war first. Not in any way about religion. Why dragging religion into it? Instead of making it your war, why not come in as a mediator in any way you can. Anyway, wishing best of luck in your forthcoming war with your brother's enemy. |
How can someone sensible and in his right sense defend this? Someone is wrecking the country you claim you love like this, but you will still choose to be loyal to him? Defending based on tribalism and religion! Nigerians are bad to Nigeria, walai. |
anonimi:Obviously, you are getting me wrong. I am not saying they are not competent. I am saying they are not strategic. The methods they are using ( wishing people will surely vote for them because of the current situation of Nigeria) cannot really with here. Majority of voters are not politically enlightened and poverty has been weaponised against them. |
They are both the same. To me, they are not planners at all. You want to wrestle power, and all you can do is to be appealing to empathy, it means you are not ready. Power will be given to whoever is ready for it. I expect the two of them to have come to a round table, have strategic plans on how to defeat the ruling parry. Unfortunately, they are both being controlled by personal ambition, making ways for Tinubu again. I just wish there should be another competent person coming out apart from these big three, that Nigerians can vote for. |

Proverbs 17 vs 28. Sorry, I can't reply you. Proverbs 26 vs 4. |
I agree with the man totally. The ruling government has made it difficult for other 'big' parties to contest next election. There are more tendencies that some of them may not field any candidates or field the one that may work for the ruling party. The new electoral law that prevents someone that losses primary election in a particular party from contesting in another platform is surely used to target a particular person in ADC, because primary election is not sure for him. The PDP crisis is there to delay the process of fielding a candidate. As it now, the only party with no issue, I mean big party, is APC. I don't see any reason for wasting #803 billion on this election again. The masses that are to be demanding accountability from their leaders have been divided based on religion and tribe. They are more loyal to their tribe, religious and political leaders than their country. What I know for sure is that, a day will come that eyes will be opened, and bad government will be over. |
Reading some people's comments, you don't need to say anything than just whaoo... Seriously, Nigerians are the only set of people that can survive in Nigeria. |
WizardOfNG:I cannot but agree with your view. We are, just like Rosseau said, free but still in chain. It is until we realize that these leaders don't really have us in mind, we will start asking what we want from them, and stop waiting for them to do what they have for us. |
AndroBlaze:For a developing country to rise, the number of years spent by a visionary leader doesn't matter. In fact, there is no country in the world that is developed now allegedly, that doesnt have a dictator that have ruled them for years. Those are the ones that will build the foundation other leaders will be ruling on. |
wellmax:Everywhere like? I don't know where this Stockholm syndrome comes from sef? |
Ikaeniyan0:You should have replied with the companies built in states to school me. |
Ikaeniyan0:I don't do this but I just need to, because I do see this lame excuse every where. If truly the presidency really wants to let the people feel the postive impacts of the subsidy removal, the money should have been used directly by the presidency, and not to the state. What happens to using the money to fund some projects, like creating empowerment scheme, in its name, in all states? Or even find a way of sharing it to the people? |
cr7lomo:Those that abused K1 surely have the right to do so, though his case is entirely different. It is a must K1 revealed the content he was holding, but not a must for Comfort to switch her phone off. It is a terrorist act to stop a plane as K1 did, which is not in the case of Comfort. In fact, she was pleading to be allowed to alight. The only good thing K1 did, which is morally right, is his apology but not legally accepted. There is no apology in law. Guy, until we stop reading tribal and religious sentiment to issues in Nigeria, we are not ready. In as much as I love K1 and also being a Yoruba guy, I will never condone what Wasiu did, while keeping silent on injustice meted on Comfort, making her a laughing stock on the Internet. |
cr7lomo:Is it possible for the lady to act like that if nothing has previously triggered that action. We were informed that she refused to switch-off her phone, which to me is not really a must if the phone was on flight mode. The refusal may have led to some altercations between the hostess and the lady, before the hostess blocked her from coming down. All the same, her gutter behavior, even when she was dragged down, was as a result of her being humiliated. You will act more than that if someone treated you that way. Everybody is not a simp that will be defending women unjustly. The lady was maltreated and that's the fact. This is about being humane. |
jamafa:Sure. There is a clear difference, but the president doesn't even have the right to suspend or even remove the elected governor. When a state of emergency is declared, it only takes away the executive power from the elected governor, not taking away his position, as Tinubu did to Fubara. This is exactly what Jonathan did during his tenure. Now, Ibas is even instituting his own institution. It is constitutionally wrong. |
Driver, can you keep the money, I am not going again. This promise land doesn't look like the land God promised o. |
gentleguy1975:If then, thanks for the piece of information. I really appreciate it. |
gentleguy1975:Thanks for the information. I just read it up to confirm. You will be shocked to know that Tinubu was one of the people in Nigeria that criticized Obasanjo, declared what he did as illegal. Though, this is Nigeria, we are quick to compare the bad with bad. I know your answer will still be since Obasanjo suspended the governor, nothing stopped Tinubu from doing the same. But I will like you to only say if it is illegal or not. |
That of 1962, I can remember vividly, Akintola was removed and replaced by Majekodunmi. During Jonathan and Obasanjo, I am not sure the governors were removed, in fact, they were not removed. Why did president remove popularly elected governor in Rivers? Is it constitutional? Governor can only be impeached not sacked. All these acts will only aggravate matters. I just hope we the citizens, need to be united, praise and blame the government whenever the need arises, rather than playing sycophants to every of their move. May God heal the country. |
