It's not compulsory you give your baby any supplement. If your baby is breastfed and/or formula-fed, eating right, and has the right number of dirty/wet diapers....then all is well. People fail to realise you can actually overdose on vitamins. Excessive Vit a for example, is not good...can go terribly wrong in a child or pregnant woman's body.

My son took abidec, cos he wasnt a big eater. He is fine and healthy. My daughter hasnt taken any supplement since she was born...and she is as healthy as babies come. The only thing I have given her is paracetamol for immunisation fever.
Thanks for this,I was already thinking I'm doing something wrong by not giving her any supplement.

Washing the hair everyday dries out the hair....that's prolly why you can notice her hair being dry. Babies dont fix weavon, apply hair spray, serum and all those other things that make the hair dirty. Ori and olive oil are both natural....and almost everything is absorbed....so there is no waste residue.
Thanks mama.

I buy from tripple A baby store in Garki market or pharmacare in games village.
For ur baby's hair,I learnt from ds thread to wash dr hair not more than twice a week with baby shampoo, den to apply kiddies conditioner and to be applying shea butter.
Its been working real well for us. My DD's hair dt eela had almost finished is now so full, curly n bouncy.
Thanks to bossladymo, cos she was d one dt gave d advise here. I've been silently learning loads of stuff here for like a year plus now!
God bless y'all mamas!
Thanks dear,I do apply ori but i noticed that her hair is very dry most times and i believe that pouring water on baby's hair makes them sleep better and longer so what happens if i dont wash her hair daily...just confused, @Bosslady please share more light on this.....Thanks

Hello dear, that's bcg spot. We were told in d hospital not to do anything to d bcg spot no matter what happens except there is pus comin out. That clean it lightly with a tissue or cotton wool and flush d cotton wool/tissue. Wash ur hands afterwards. Anything other than that do no do anything. If it's not makin ur baby uncomfortable then let it be dear.
thank you so much, really appreciate.

@Bambini, if this will help.....on my return leg to Nigeria my UK visa already expired and I have 10hrs layover in the UK which i didnt want to spend waiting at Heathrow with my baby what I did was to approach the immigration guy and I explained that I want to go and check into an hotel and that my baby has US passport so he asked if I have a US visa I said yes, asked if I booked an hotel already said no said he will ask his superior which he didnt do at the end of the day...he filled a landing card for me and my daughter gave me a one day visa.

Don't know if that was the usual thing or God answering my prayers.....guess is the latter sha grin.

Hello everyone,I must say this site has really helped me a lot ,got all the information I needed for my interview and I read from the first page to the last and even googled to confirm details.
Myself and hubby went for our interview in Abuja and it went like this:
VO: good morning
Us: Good morning
VO: Where in the US are you going
HUBBY:Dallas
VO: Why
HUBBY: To have our baby
VO :oh Really...Then she faced me and said so you are pregnant
ME: Yes with a smile
VO :How long have you been married
ME: so so months
VO: What do you do
US: We both told her
VO: How much do you earn
US: We told her even tho hubby gave the net figure while we filled the gross amount on the form
VO: When is your due date madam
ME: I told her the month but she asked for the specific date I was given
VO: Can I see the hospital and doctors correspondence
we gave her, then she went to the page when the hospital listed their bills and typed on the system
VO: Can I see your bank statements
US: We gave her with our budget sheet
Then she said she will have to go in with the documents to check and do some calculations....
This took almost 10 mins,I kept on praying and speaking the word, she came back...smiled and said hiii..I replied with a smile and did some typing on the system, returned our documents and told us to pick our visas the day after....
My advice...Plan,Prepare and Pray...Pray ....and pray.

I guess she went in to check the hospital and the doctors address....
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum.
