I honestly know how it feels to be in such a position. Those agents think they can treat people as they please. It high time we taught them some lessons. I don't know how they sleep at night. Fehgur: |
Thank you, I will keep tailgating her. I am tired of the whole thing already. I just want to know the outcome and she's still not being straight forward. Shayo5: |
Please, is there any sense in this? She later came up with the excuse that they had to reapply after my case was reapealed because the first sponsorship letter I have was not properly notarized. Shayo5: |
She has so far sent me documents containing 3 different application numbers. Buks03: |
Does the name of the agent start with a 'D"? She already created an email for me intialky, which she gave me access to, but the new one, she's claiming that the problem probably came from VFS and I can't view the dashboard myself. Buks03: |
Amen, thank you for your concern CharitoJames: |
I have tried using the details on the biometrics instruction and request letters and it's not working either. The only thing that is obvious she changed is the email address. Thanks, I will keep trying CharitoJames: |
Thanks for your response, I don't even know what to believe. Shayo5: |
This is beginning to look like mine, please act fast. Akhigbelizy: |
I've lost all hope. I can't even approach my sponsor with this information and I don't have the funds required to finance myself, I'm just a struggling civil servant. Fumyyy: |
I'm pained, downcast and highly disappointed in fellow Nigerians. I tried the "retrieve my application option" from my agent , but I was met with a brick wall. She didn't submit any application as it were. And to think we have been on it for more than a year is equally annoying. I already differed the admission once, I'm supposed to pay tuition deposit on or before August 27th and this. I would have handled it myself if I had known how. I paid an outrageous amount for her non-existent service. I even went for biometrics and upfront medical ( I had a severe ulcer attack on that day, that could have lead to a life threatening situation). She dashed my hope just like that, I'm sobbing badly and there's no one to console me as my husband is not around. Why would you do such to another person? The answer can't be greed, but pure witchcraft. Up till yesterday evening, she kept maintaining that all that is left is a response from IRCC on decision. My sponsor will never take me seriously again. It's indeed a very wicked world and the wait of more that a year has ended in sad tears for me

@sOlasubomy, please come to my rescue. I'm stuck on this part |
Good evening everyone, Please is DLI number same as the institution's phone number? It's urgent. Thanks |
Wow, congratulations. May you Excel in the course of your study and beyond in Jesus name. Pat978: |
@olasubomy good evening, I saw your post on how to retrieve one's application from an agent. Should I go ahead and do likewise as the agent has not been straight forward and keeping all the necessary information away from me apart from my application number, uci number, IRCC number (which I got from the small sticker attached to the back of the yellow slip I got at the biometrics collection center) and biometrics ID. The email on the slip is different from the one I use and put down. Also, she has so far sent me documents containing 3 different application numbers (red flag). The only one (most recent) I know is genuine is the one on the biometrics instruction letter. One of the previous ones was written on the notarized sponsorship letter from my sponsor and the other one is contained on the letter of confirmation of application (which looks doctored in every sense), according to this, the application was submitted in march, but I did biometrics on 4th July, 2022 and upfront medical on April, 26th. I don't have access to the dashboard and I've already put in for a deferral. The next resumption date is in late September, 2022. Other gurus have tried to help me in every way they can, but I would want to check things for myself to be sure she didn't submit any fake documents or that she put in an application at all. Thanks and sorry for the long post. |

I only have the biometrics appointment and instruction letters. Please, how do I order GCMS notes? Thanks ShowYoung: |
I only have the biometrics appointment and instruction letters. Please, how do I order GCMS notes? ShowYoung: |
The correct email begins with my middle name and ends with my surname, but on the slip (print out) the names were rearranged, with my surname first (an alphabet skipped) and my middle name last. Thanks again CharitoJames: |
Thanks for your response, but what about the emails mix-up, do you think it came from VFS or the agent? Also, why the different application numbers? hillary4003: |
Yes, I have those ones. How do I access my profile with them? She is not ready to avail me the screenshot. I don't know why, I've made all the payments I'm due to her. Thanks uote author=ShowYoung post=115566776] While you may not have access to your application, you should know your UCI number and application number. Kindly ask for the Confirmation of Application Submission letter and Biometric Letter. You should have access to these two documents. You should also ask for the screenshot of your application profile page. Also, you should have only one application number (Sxxxxxxx in a case of study visa, Exxxxxxx for Express Entry, Vxxxxxxx for visit visa etc) and a UCI number for an application.
|
Please, help a novice like me. I have been kept in the dark for too long |
Good afternoon to everyone in the house and congratulations to all the ppr recipients. Please, I'm at a crossroad and I need urgent help. I applied for study visa through an agent, one of my siblings will be sponsoring me and we have sent his bank statement (mine was never requested for) to that effect. She left out so many important documents like my appointment/confirmation letters and some other work related documents but that is the least of my worries as she's yet to reveal to me the exact date of application. I don't have access to my page (profile) and I cannot monitor the progress of things or know the documents she submitted. On having a second look at the yellow slip printed out at the biometrics collection center (4/7/2022), I noticed that the email on the slip was very different from the one I filled on the form and the copy of my biodata page I submitted. Do you think the went with the one she filled in the application or the one I gave at on the day of my biometrics? I still have my copy of the biodata page I wrote my email address and phone number on. I tried calling VFS, but the line wasn't connecting. The agent has not been truthful and so far, as I've also seen 3 different application numbers on each documents she has sent me. What do you think I should do? I have almost lost hope in the whole process. Please, help me. I just want to know my chances and or if I should start the whole process all over. We have been on it since around October last year. |
[You are even lucky that you are able to view the progress of your application first-hand, unlike some of us that used travel consultants that aren't transparent enough to let us know how things are coming together. I did upfront medical April 26th, only to receive my biometrics request letter on 30th June, 2022. Did biometrics 4th July, 2022. I've been on this journey since November, 2021 and I'm not sure when the application was submitted or what was submitted. Found this thread just of recent and I thought I would have put in the application by myself, if only I came across it earlier. It's frustrating, but I'm still hopeful nonetheless. God will come through for us all as there's nothing he cannot do application quote author=lilangel20 post=115386246]July applicant too. Upfront medicals 1 of August. They started reviewing the medicals today. Or coming very very soon. July 2nd
|
hillary4003:thank you so much for your ever insightful response. My sponsor is a developer and has a good inflow and outflow of funds as you stated. The statement I gave were from August, 2021 to Jan, 2022, because we've been on it since last year. My thoughts is that she submitted an application before the omicron variant holdup, but couldn't proceed as expected, because she sent me a copy of the application letter, dated sometime in March. She didn't request for those documents you mentioned and the medical results has been updated and I requested for my copy as well. Honestly, I don't know what to think. Thanks |
Good day, This thread would have been so helpful if I had come across it a little earlier, but I'm still optimistic that all will pan out for good. I'm using an agent. My questions are as follows: 1) is it possible to submit an application before biometrics (according to my agent), my application was submitted on March 19th, but I only just just my biometrics request letter on June, 30th? 2) is submitting just my sponsor's bank statements, notarized sponsor's letter and reference letter from his bank enough to cover for proof of funds. My brother who doubles as my sponsor has way over 100M in the said account? 3) I'm a federal civil servant, but she (the agent) didn't ask for any documents in that regards, I was expecting that she would request for my leave of absence letter, payslips, and letter of appointment. She never did and she kept telling not to bother about b those. 4) other documents she submitted on my behalf are: family pictures, academic certificates, birth certificate (my family and I), assets documents (used my husband's), children's, LOE, CV, admission letter, deferral payments receipt, parents assets documents, that's all I can remember for now, stamped pages of my old passport 5) upfront medical was done on 26th, April 6) biometrics done on 4th July, 2022. Do you think all these are enough to get the study visa? Kindly be respond soon as my heart is racing. Thanks |
