Religion / Re: Is the Catholic Church the One And Only True Church? by bucho(m): 5:06am On Dec 10, 2012
belabela:

Simple answer NO!

The one true church of Jesus Chrit is not in bricks or grandeur or fame. Those who worship the Lord worship him in Spirit and in truth. The head of the one true church is not the Pope but Jesus Christ himself. He is the only high priest not Adeboye or any of the other Nigerian GOs claiming to be high priests. Members of the one true church are scatteed all over
the world and interestingly some of them are members of the Roman catholic church. It is not about denomination or location but faith in the Lord Jesus and a life led by the Spirit of God. To belong to a group where Christ is praised does not automatically make you a member of the one true church. When the head of the church (Jesus) returns he will gather all members of the one true church to himself ( raising those who are sleeping (dead) and glorifying all in immortality). Anybody caliming his local denomiantion is the only true church is very ignorant and he/she may not even be a member of the one true church.

Another logical,coherrent,sensible and well articulated presentation.@ OP and the likes of truthislight ,you guys should learn from belabela & striktlymi rather than throwing insults and abuses at people.
Makes me keep wondering how some people passed through the higher institution.
I weep for this country!.

Buc: experience sure is a plus.
I've always felt Tinubu would be seen as Awo tomorrow. And U re right Sir, Zik was no hero of mine and Ojukwu was no hero to me also. If Biafra had worked back then, he would ve been synonymous with Gadaffi today I believe. Cause reports of his administration of Biafra, while it lasted was dictatorial. But, I may be wrong, may be prevailing conditions made him so.

Exactly.Well said.
Religion / Re: Pastors Owning Private Jets Is An Embarrassment – Bishop Mathew Kukah by bucho(m): 8:42pm On Nov 18, 2012
infolekan:

Christ came to reddem us from the law itself. A son will always aspire to be greater than his father & that's is always the fathers wish.
I'm always wondering the reason why the MOG are always being targeted when the people stealing ur money are there in govt year in year out & we don't open up threads condemning them.
The Pastors have never collected money from anyone with a gun & the people paying the tithes aren't complaing.
Its the jobless that don't even pay that are complaining about money that they never even contributed in the first place quoting bible passages that they will never read to understand & translationg spiritual words literarily & supplying unsolicited ideas on how money that they dint earn should be spent.
If u feel ur Pastor is using ur money to buy jets....stop paying ur tithe then. Doubt if anyone will notice it.

Yet another WACKO.
I weep for this country when I read posts like this.I can not help but imagine what happens when HALF WITS like you assumes leadership positions in this country.

Mr.chippychappy:
I made a post earlier on here https://www.nairaland.com/912769/biafra-independence/1#12298396 about this same issue . The only way this BZM guys can make progress is by following some if not all of the steps below

@chippychappy,
You just said it all.Quite a number of posters here are myopic and ethnocentric in their presentations.And that makes me wonder the standard of education we get these days.
I believe that the ibos are well aware of the necessary steps to be taken to actualize their biafran dream.However,I'm of the opinion that the people that matter(the stakeholders in iboland) that will make it happen are very much reluctant to take the steps, majorly because of their interests in terms of investments beyond the boundaries of the biafran colony.And it will take more than mere protests to get these guys to sign on.The ibos are very resilient set of beings(quoting a Yoruba professor).No ethnic group in
Nigeria would suffer as much as the ibos did during the civil war and still have a hold on the Nigerian economy the way they do today.There's hardly any sector in the country today that is devoid of the ibo man's ingenuity and craftiness.That having been said,the way the Nigerian state is going currently,I'm certain the sovereignity of biafran state will be achieved someday.But the big question is WHEN.

nitlad: That's not entirely correct. If anything, the KGB and SVR are equally capable of sabotaging and stealing the lead on the West's military capabilities through their ever effective espionage.
The KGB is arguably the most effective information gathering organization.

@nitlad,
Do u mean the KGB of the former soviet union or that of the present day Russia?.Guy u need to start reading oo!!!
