@Lagbaja; Retail price of dry brewery waste in ibadan is between N11-N15 per kg. I had to confirm earlier 2day because I was surprised when you said whole cassava is cheaper than brewery waste.
Mayb the price is location specific though. I've been using spent grain for years but I had to confirm your analysis.

@ Dejia; kept wondering what BDG was. Tot its BSG: brewers spent grain.
Anyway, its free in ilesa. All u have to do is tip d attendants and they load your truck at the brewery.
I buy from a middleman who gets from nigeria breweries here in ibadan or sometimes I buy the already dried one @ about N11k/tonne.

We use fresh cassava that we ensile for 4 days. Fibre content of fresh unprocessed cassava is low. Pkc is what provides the required fibre content. Our farm is only about 6 months old. We got our piglet stock from South Africa through a local agent. The breed is camborough from PIC and Oke Aro already weaned. The camborough breed produce lean meat and have an FCR of 2. We got our "about to cross" and gilts from Oke Aro. Almost all our sows are pregnant now. The response to the feed has been fantastic.

Bro can you help with acquiring this camborough, we are about kick starting our pig farm with 10 about to cross sows. My no 07039388167

Writing this article with faith,I have vass knowledge in piggery and little on grasscutter,am an undergraduate,I base in lagos,but want to venture into piggery farm at ibadan,I chose ibadan cos I can get 1 acre of land at cheaper rate,Max 250k for 1 acre,I might dig a well or get a land closer to stream just to minimise the cost ,my friend elder bro is in charge of brewery waste in ibadan he promise me to supply me regular supply of brewery,so feeding the animal won't b a problem n it will b cheap,I have a quotation of less than a million project to start dis biz,it might not be in standard way but I belief as tym goes on we will upgrade,planing to plant pawpaw,ugwu,moringa n cassava to add as supplement for there food,and I can source for cassava peels n dry them as well,am jobless for like 2years now just need assistant I don't mind if it going to be inform of loan or partnership,so am pleading if any Nigerians can be of help,or any organisation,with God all things are possible

I don't use any of them...I use fish feed; Aqua, Coppens or aller aqua.....they contain 45%Crude protein and 12-13% fat. ...the protein is higher than any of all these ones you mentioned and the fat is lesser....prove me wrong. ....I went through even their puppy feed...Arion is 30%CP and 20% fat......just my own view tho I cook mostly and use this my own kibbles as appetizer
state all the CP of the ones you use; let's compare
MODIFIED: did I state that it is cheaper; btw 5k and 6k.....and comes in different sizes....
2mm-3mm can be used for puppies
4-6mm can be used for adult dogs.....works for me....be careful when introducing it.....don't rush them till dey adjust to it
