Everyone gives info here calling it genuine or claiming he/she/it got it from dpr staff. Am not surprised, such is expected on this kinda page. But let me tell most of us here that being a dpr staff doesn't mean u have access to info regarding this ongoing recruitment exercise. Most of the staffs don't know shit. Very few of them know little, so u gotta know those few before u can accept anything served in ur plate of enquiry. I have met some staffs at the office several times hoping to get some info but eventually, it turned out I was the one that gave them latest info.

As for the results, am not sure scores will be pasted. According to one of the last set of employed, he only got to know where he scored high and woefully during the interview stage coz they brought out everyone's file contained within, your documents, including ur results for review. But who knows, this is CBT unlike the last recruitment exercise.

As for the next stage, pple MIGHT start receiving invites within the next 2weeks. I said 'might' eventhough the official used 'will' coz if anything changes, na me dem go crucify for this thread. And to be candid, anytin fit change. I was told everything about this recruitment must be completed by October this year. And it's going to be another another, but this time around, technical..... To separate men from boys - he said to me teasingly. So go and equip ursef well well in ur area of specialisation ooo.

As for nepotism, that letter from the office of ****....... that has generated heated arguments on various platforms and media is just like 1/100th of such letters. But I was told no one can interfere at this particular stage. Me no believe dat one sha o. What I know is that no one can claim whatever Allah has made mine. To be candid, DPR employs on merit to a large extent. At least, I am certain of the Upstream Division. I know almost everyone there. Most of dem na wetin Yoruba dey call "omo a'tapata dide " someone can help with interpretation. Although, there are few there that could have gotten in via backdoor sha.

So, kill the spirit of pessimism right away, seek for God's favor and mercies, and don't put all ur eggs in one basket. Let's keep applying to other places. After all, most pple working in DPR that I know today got their offer letter while working in another company. Most have even forgotten they applied to DPR. Y'all know that feeling of getting something so gracious when you least expect it. It's the opposite of the feeling of losing out on something you have put all your hopes on. May Allah ease our affairs and bring us glad tidings wherever we expect or least expect

Are you referring to what one studied or what one applied for, I applied for Human Resources Officer GT but what I studied is Geography.. how do they relate.... just asking to be clear on where to prepare from. good morning

The way I take dey log into the portal every day, you will think it's Facebook, I can't wait to know my fate as regards this application

I don't think this issue is old. It was discussed in wee FM today. And I will want to officially thank the guy who summon the courage to post that latter on social media.

And once again, do not underestimate the power of social media

funny and pessimistic people here, please is it true DPR has started sending people their test status?

I have known the Military for recruiting within a month, i.e exams, shortlisting of successful candidates and conduction of interviews within a month..

But government agencies, departments and ministries... they have to do the chwa chwa first. before the execution of the next stage.. their chwa chwa takes longer than The uniform People. Patience is the key.

Letter or no Letter, what must be must be.. no be new thing.. me wrote the test but my right leg had already moved on.. the left leg is waiting for December to come and be going.. if DPR like call me, if them like no call Me.. DPR wasn't a company inaugurated by my Ancestors

This list I no see dey vex me... I spread news on social media for fun.. someone should help me with the list if you have it

Thank God for those that their own have changed from pending to Approved... at least I know now that we will all face the exam tension... experience it in our way..

Me wrote last month in PH/Ace.. but am glad more people are writing...

I just hope the last persons that wrote didn't fail anyhow, that's why they changing pending to Approved... lol

LAGOS — A proposal by the Federal Government to expend an annual average of N27 million on each staff of the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, as personnel cost caused a stir at the National Assembly, yesterday.
Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Allison-Madueke, who led the DPR team and other agencies of the Ministry of Petroleum to the Senate defence hearing, however, assured that the government in a bid to curtail the burgeoning personnel cost was set to embark on a rationalization of its staff and agencies.
An estimated N30 billion of a total budget of N35 billion proposed for the DPR is earmarked for the department’s 1,100 staff.
A breakdown of the budget presentation tabled before the six committees of the National Assembly showed that of DPR’s N35, 997,149,841 budget, capital expenditure is only N4,786,302,790 while N31,210,847,051 will go to personnel costs and overheads. The budget estimate also indicated that personnel costs for DPR in 2012 is put at N30,399,182,331 while the remaining N811,664,720 is for overhead costs.

Me the thing is even after mine showed application completed... and later changed from pending successful submission to Approved and me traveling from one state to another to take the test.. I didn't put 100% hope in it... so whatever my expectations are, I won't regret when DPR does all the halibaloo and man know man finish..
It's not easy but trust me, the first year of working with dpr will be worth the wait and jibirish we posting out here....

Peace to everyone from those who made it through the first stage and those hoping to make it through... DPR fit control their office but God controls all....

I have a friend whose Dad gave her a Job in CBN last month, no exam... she just went for interview and 2 weeks later got posted and on the first day of work got 840k allowance.. they call it 28 days.... but this is the same job people have been traveling here and there writing exams and going for interviews.. this friend I am talking about just finished nysc last 2 months.... AS FAR AS NIGERIA IS CONCERNED THERE WILL ALWAYS BE BACK DOOR RECRUITMENT... in my present place of work... I got the job on merit.. but I still resume work everyday with people who got appointment letters in their living room.. the truth is some will get it on Merit, some wont... the Ratio of merit to back door is my utmost concern with DPR cos I know say Merit go dey... back door too go dey...

AND PLEASE ENOUGH OF THE SUBMIT BUTTON ISSUE....

I will Neva forget dat faithful Monday I wrote dpr exam in Abuja. I sit-down near chamcity fence o. na em one paddy drive come dat side. e almost jam us sef. Fine boy. fresh boy with designer suit. Yellow boy. See em motor. Na die. correkt. Me I think say na invigilator abi dpr staff. Na so my guy comot exam slip I. dey ask me when 12:30pm people go enter. I shock. Well I answer am sha. If I fit guess I go say the guy applied for experienced hire and em current salary fit reach Wetin dpr go pay am if hired.

Exactly... my present Job took me 2 years after application online.. to Aptitude Test. ... to interview, to Documentation, to posting... 2 years.

All we need now is someone with reliable information concerning how DPR intends to Shortlist for the next stage (when)..
.. other than that whatever you post could lead to insult or scrutiny... some people have free wifi where they are... they can comment 1 million times and not make a single point....
