OAU putme question was just 40. I think this people are serious about the C.A.P.S. O'level is 10%, utme 50% putme 40%. Expect something similar from UI if not the same.

From jamb's sensitization meeting today. I seems Jamb score must take a quota from whatever cutoff any university is setting. Maybe the post-utme quota on admission will be 50% or less. This is all I can infer from the proposed C.A.P.S. for now.

Good morning sir/ma. I want to have an idea of a typical engineering question. An aspiring engineering student. Should I consult d same materials I used for utme? I haven't written any UI's putme before. Help a brother pls.

report reaching me now is that ui will not conduct post utme this year due to lack of preparation and limited time for admission process. this news is not official but from a reliable source.Candidate who wish to change back to ui should wait for the outcome of the Senate meeting thanks

I totally believe dis. Putme test may actually start next year.

Please guys something just came to my mind about the cancellation of ban on post utme why is it that out of all the newspapers it is only the guardian that has the news what of vanguard the punch and others or are they no more existing?

@MrHistorian, kindly look into this. This so called "lifting of ban" hasn't bn made official. If this news were to genuine, other media outlet should av reported likewise
. This same Guardian newspaper said dt universities could conduct post utme in 2016/2017 admission with a uniform charge of #2500. I await Ur response sir

The fact that some students had a woeful performance in their test doesn't give d institution to condemn dia former modality. UI can't possibly write a putme examination. People coming up here to post contradicting stories is a fallacy. FG's directive is against putme examination nd d instruction was clear to all tertiary institutions (private nd public). I heard dt d institution former VC petitioned FG pertaining to d cancelation of putme last year. The ASUU faction of UI threatened to go on strike but all to no avail. The modality of admission remains! !! What UI possess now is the autonomy of the point system to use. The Jamb/O'level may not be 50/50 dis year.
