Themaths: In as much as I do not intend to put sand in anyone's garri, those registering for the subsidized GRE of around 50-70k should know they do so at their own risks. Many people's result were withheld and told to make a full payment of $200+ which is the official price.
It could be that the guys doing this have found a way around it, I can't really say, but be careful people.
If you need GRE materials, you can send me a DM, I have a Google drive with materials that can help you. Goodluck.
Remember, Practice! Practice!! And keep Practicing!!! Good morning Sir. I just sent you a DM. Please I need the link to the GRE materials. Thank you |

funkyshade: Nope: Approved loan: N250k Interest Rate: 5% per annum Repayment frequency: monthly principal & interest Tenor: 60 months Moratorium: 12 months on both principal & interest.
You gerrit now? Yeah. This is how it's supposed to be. That was the initial terms and conditions. One paying back in a year will pay back just 5% but one paying back in 2 years will pay 10% and so on... |

Idrismusty97: Please where did you see that, i checked their Facebook page nothing. Only the replies in some of their old posts telling everyone to "calm down we would be responded to on the next steps blah blah". Everyone is furious about visiting their branch and they haven't made any explicit statement that you have to.
Even if you want to at least get an account number first so you only have to visit once, every single bank on earth can create an account without physical presence. I don't know where FG pick this ancient bank from, wetin join normal human being and Baobab before. Here

Seems like you guys haven't gotten it yet. According to them, you'd still have to appear for physical verification before disbursement. Saw it on Facebook. Today's sms doesn't change that. |

Just yesterday 18 military men(Nigeria army) were kidnapped along Kd-abuja road. These are armed men. Now be risking people's life for 250k and onee bank incompetence. |

Tex42: This Baobab guys can't be serious. What's this nonsense, so me that stays in Anambra will have to travel down to Lagos twice just to receive loan that's not up to 1m.
Guys we have to do something about this. If it means calling them out on Facebook and Twitter.
Very inconsiderate nonentities. This is what we must do. It doesn't make sense to travel to physical branch for disbursement. The risks are too much. The cost implication is higher than the loan interest rate. We're business people and this is against business ethics. Thirdly, other banks with same assignments carried it out without any physical appearance. Moreover there are digital ways to achieve that. Let's call them out, they'll calm down. |

Nairaland is sufficient for that. Whenever anyone comes they'll be able to trace the conversation. WhatsApp group will scatter this group with irrelevances like "please add my number...." which we don't need. Telegram is even better and there's a general group to that effect already. Just search nyif |

Perfectman91: My brother I asked the staff at the baobab bank yesterday if other beneficiaries outside Lagos can participate and she said their bank was chosen because of its proximity. Meaning it's in various states outside Lagos Not true. They only have branches in Lagos(14), Abuja(4), and Kaduna(5). They are not serious. I wonder how they'd ask people to come to the physical branch before opening an account, in this technology age. The google form carries everything needed to open a bank account but baobab nor get sense lass lass. Somebody like me in Taraba, all three locations far. You'll now be spending 20-30k tp. Hian!! |
