We wish you the same also . Anyway guys why This IELTS guys like to dey complicate things too much . I just contacted them (British Council) and they told me the following things:

1. The test would not take place at the same date . The first test takes place on the 10th of January and the speaking test would take place about a week after the first test

2. The test results would be released after 13 days BUT not all the test results.why all this complications ? The admission process begins on the 7th and ends on the 27th. If the first batch of results comes out after 13th days then that would be on the 23rd of January , 4 days before the end of the admission process , then how long would it be before the second batch of the result would be released?

Please I would like to know if it was the same for you guys also.

this is why is good to write all this exam early, so that even if you didn't get the right score you can still retake, the best time for ielts is August to October,

Guys, I hope this isn't a silly question but I would like to know if this notorized paper thing is only for those applying for Msc or does it apply to all students ? For example, those of us applying for Bsc programs would we still have to make notorized copies of WASSCE , GCE etc ?

Take ur passport bord kenya airline wen u get to d aiport in kenya dats wen dey issue u visa u must buy return ticket n have money for hotel which dey won't check any way but carry small cash extra

I know bross but we don't need visa for ecowas country including ghana, visa free is different from visa on arival, mozambique is another visa on arrival for nigeria but you have to send your passport to mozambique for prosess after visa will dhl to you before u can now travel, but since kenya embassy is here you have to contact them to avoid interruption, normally visa on arrival should be as you mention but I don't think it will be easy like that this days, remember kenya is one of the country that dosent take things essey with nigerians, so to avoid embarrassment just seek for direction from embassy, that is my opinion, we are talking the same thing though,

kenya is visa on arival for nigeria but you can't just board plain to kenya with just your passport, there are some procedure to follow, you have go to their embassy at abuja or email them, they will now tell you their visa requirement, which they will now forward to nairobi for process, their visa is so cheap, I remember their single entry is 20 to 50 dollar, don't give any body to do it for you, just contact their embassy they will reply and assist you, Its simple.

Why this mass exodus bikonu? this is why America will never stop to downgrade Nigeria, what a shame, out of that 220,000 don't be surprise that people they will grant visa will not up to 30,000 the rest will just west their money, this how they are growing their economy.

see, there is nothing like two years visa, is either you apply for tourist visa which is 3 months and multiple 6 months or resident permit which is from 1 year up, UK and and US may give you 2 years tourist multiple entry, but they will still tell you how many months you will spent out of it, so I think all visa application required passport that is valid not less than 6 months, so if you will apply now I think your passport can do the work,

Simply write on dat 10th Jan. Send every other docs while d admission is still on. British Council will send your test electronically as long as you as them to do so on your behalf. Its on the form. Besides if you write 10th, it will be out by 23rd or 24th thus enabling u to meet up with d deadline

but that is 50 50 risk oo, will they accept IELTS electronically? I think its only toafl they will only accept like that, IELTS is only by post whether its from BC. Well I think he will first ask his sch by then if the will accept it like that

U will send ur insurance...but ur application fee...u will go to d embassy wit d teller from bank...na d 1st tin dem go ask from u b that.

LoL...no big deal on diz...after u apply online, print out ur application, and gada it with all your original documents + 2 sets of fotocopy each, + ur international passport if u be nigerian, + 3passport foto, + result checking card which is a new waec scratch card, den post wit dhl, fed ex or ups to d embassy 2weeks b4 ur date .....when u get to d embassy on dat day, d 1st tin dey will show u is ur docs...also u av already presented ur international passport that way...
U dnt need to contact waec, just buy d card 600 naira or so.

guy what about visa fee and insurance, do you need to sent that also?

u will only need it when applying for your residence permit. make sure the age on it tally with your passport and all, a guy was denied cuz of that

but I think if the age didn't tally the person need to add court affidavit with the waec if it really his or her result

Hello abeg guys does anyone know if the Finnish embassy would give visa to a prospective student interested in writing the entrance exams? Why I ask is because I have been in touch with Finnish Universities and most , if not all of them told me that the entrance exams would only take place in Finland. I really hope this wouldn't be a problem O !

that is the problem oo, they can issue you tourist visa but don't mention entrance exam to them

if your passport is not the old virgin passport and it bears ECOWAS its E passport, I think e passport started from 2010, so if you did your passport on 2013 its the same electronic passport. The only latest passport now is the new 64 pages which is only made for regular traveler and diplomatic, its not for every body.

you don't have int passport and you want to travel abroad, you can't do any thing international with out your passport

you likely to get your permit from 3 weeks after interview, but even it comes out a little after jan 8 I think it dose not matter cos the sch will know what are passing through, did you apply online? Or paper,

Go to abuja that is only place you will do it, the official lost case price is 50k but you gona hold up to 100k for person that will help you and hotel and transportation, cos you might go to abj 2 time, visit the immigration office you did your old one first for more info.
