Obama's re-election in commitments:

America = 98%
Rest of the world = 2%

What would be the probability of Obamas' commitment to Nigeria in particular and Africa in general?

Charity they say starts at hone. Forget Obama for now. Naija govt should wake up and take up the mantles with various challenges in Naija.... Let's stop dreaming in fantasy land...

stpat1: Sometimes I wonder why its the immigrants that are in Lagos that are always quick to make ethnically biased comments. Real lagosians do not beef other citizens and we are very accommodating. So please all these Yoruba coalition trying to paint lagosians as proud people, pls talk about your state and don't because you are Yoruba you are automatically Lagosian.

Eko Atlantic where are you from in Lagos? Trigar12 what about you? Burger01 you nko?

geeez: I wonder why they can barely understand this

Very soon other states will start theirs too
Exactly my point. Developments starts from initiatives like this and spread round all states and soon we have a central citizen database for proper national planning. Those that are kicking against this initiative are clueless and kinda backward. How else would they expect development? I tire for naija people. We have govt in place in Lagos state that want to implement initiatives gained from various trips abroad to help development in the state, yet naija people are complaining.

Some people don't understand the rationale behind Fashola's plans. Why won't people seek clarification and proper comprehension of the matter at hand before coming out to spew rubbish on this thread. Maybe they have hidden agendas. What's wrong in a govt that's trying to plan well for its citizens and manage resources within the coffer of the state? Why don't u guys come to any state in America and declined to be registered? why don't most naija peeps want development? I tire o..

tunnytox: Good for you but the fact that you relocate back to Naija and becomes successful doesn't mean 'there's no place like Naija'. if it works for you fine but that doesn't mean it's going to work for others, many who stay behind are also doing well.
You are right bros. The point I am trying to make is that is it worth my peace of mind and freedom in every sense of it to stay illegally behind in uk?. Is it worth it for any reason at all to be undocumented in a foreign place like UK knowing fully well the risk of such adventure?
Travel › Re: Bounty Hunters For Illegal Immigrants In U.K. by Burger01(m): 1:59pm On Nov 09, 2012
Richtronix: Hello Burger,

Everywhere has its advantages and disadvantages, I was born here in the UK yet went to secondary school (Baptist Academy) and university (UNILAG) yet I have chosen to live in the UK, despite the fact I own a house in Lagos and return every Xmas. While I feel sorry for the plight of illegal immigrants and their daily struggle, I'm enjoying everything this country (UK) has to offer and when I'm good and ready to return to Nigeria (possibly when there is decent governance or a better quality of life) I shall return permanently.

Until then I will continue to enjoy the best of both worlds without slagging off one end just to prove a point.

I'll leave that for unsuccessful and non enterprising haters. wink
Bros, I understand your point. Yours is different. You, like some of my pals, were born in UK, still u had your elementary studies in naija and eventually decided to stay in uk due to your status. I probably would do same as you did. Its nice and better that way since you won't have issues with home office. I only encourage undocumented nigerians in uk not to make staying in uk a do or die affair. I get your points bro..

OK. Though, I knew years ago that the british govt would make a move like this. Uk is just too small and not diversify enough to cope with high influx of immigrants of this magnitude. Well, I wish our brothers and sisters well....

Some people wey dey form for that shiite of a place go clear eyes now. I bet some are already looking for cave to hide instead of swallowing their prides and egos and relocate home to Lasgidi. I did my studies in uk and after graduation I didn't bother to stay behind and waste my life like some senseless folks are doing. Their is no place like naija. In the states I still think of settling down in naija, though usa is far better than that shiite of a place called uk. Guys, pack your things and face naija. No shame, you don try...

honeychild: So which is the male and which the female? I thot d male being xx swims faster but does not last as long while d female xy is slower but lasts longer. To have a boy, meet after ovulatn. D faster xx gets 2 d egg first and fertilises it. If u meet days before ovulatn d male xx would have died off leaving only d female xy. Please do correct me if I have gotten it all mixed up smiley.
Your assertion makes sense. My question is how many days can the fluid be deposited before ovulation for the xy chromosome to win the race for a male child?
Nice thread.
