This thing tends to happen to a lot of people. I myself have been through numerous lockouts to date, and as such I have cultivated the habit of always having a backup plan to fall upon in times of need. There are many DIY tips that you can use to get back into your car when you're locked out. However, one method that works best for me is having multiple spare keys that I can get from different locations. I keep a set at home and I keep one at work as well. You can never be too safe! In addition to these, my brother has a set of my spare keys and I have one of his, that way if I am ever locked out he can bring me my spare, and vice versa. Hope this helps you out in some way! ![]() |

shallyman:I have heard this happening to a lot of Toyota Camry's. I wonder if Toyota will just fix the issue. The funny part is that Toyota is fully aware of exactly whats going and they dont do anything about it. It has been really hot lately but that is no excuse for you cars' dashboard to melt. |
With a millions dollars I would visit the whole world. Take my time in each spot and not rush anything, enjoy the time actually being there. |

If you are really that scared just get any deadbolt. They are all secure. If you are looking for somethign with high security then get a Multi Lock deadbolt or Medeco those I would say are pretty secure. |
Locksmiths usually charge more to change locks. What I would do is tell the locksmith that you want the locks to just be rekeyed if they do charge to much to change the lock. Or you can just go buy the lock itself and have them install the lock if you dont know how. My best bet is I have them rekey the locks unless the locks are no good, rusted, worn out, or you want something more secure. |
