The 9th edition of the PDP live radio interactive programme, GASKIYA BATA NEMAN ADO, was held on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, with top party leaders and candidates in attendance.

Guests on the programme included Hon. Zilfikar Auwal Tambaya (Maina Tsafe), State Chairman of the PDP, Zamfara State, Hon. Sanusi Bala (Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta), Senatorial candidate for Zamfara Central, Hon. Kabiru Mande Tsafe, House of Representatives candidate for Gusau/Tsafe, Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Sabo Ruwan Dorawa, House of Representatives candidate for Bungudu/Maru, Hon. Sanusi Danhausa, State Treasurer of the PDP, Hon. Buhari Abdullahi Tambai (Sadaukin Tsafe), State Assembly candidate for Tsafe East, Hon. Barr. Hassan Mohammad, State Assembly candidate for Maru North, as well as PDP Local Government Chairmen of Gusau, Tsafe, Bungudu and Maru who all participated in this week's edition.

Speaking at the programme, the PDP Publicity Secretary, Kabirudeen Muhammad Tsafe, said that as the public witnessed last Sunday, the entry of the Senatorial candidate into Gusau, though it was not a campaign rally, the massive crowd that came out to receive him from Yankara to Gusau clearly shows that Zamfara people belong to PDP. He added that by Allah's grace, there was a downpour of rain at that moment which cooled the town, describing it as a sign of blessing and good luck for the movement.

Also speaking, the PDP Chairman of Gusau Local Government thanked Almighty Allah for the elevation He has given to the PDP in Zamfara State. He described Sanusi Bala Turaki as a prominent politician whose philanthropy and support to the people across the state is well known to all. In his final remarks, the Chairman said the awaited moment is when Engineer Ibrahim Shehu will enter Zamfara, and when he does, the people will confirm that the 2027 Governor has arrived.

In his contribution, Hon. Sanusi Danhausa said they will tell the people what they already know. He said today, as Zamfara celebrates 30 years of its creation, the question to ask is who struggled for the creation of this state? He noted that the father of Engineer Ibrahim Shehu was among the elders who fought for the creation of Zamfara State, and after the state was created, his father Alhaji Shehu Bakauye was among those who lent their properties to government where ministries were housed and government activities were conducted.

In short, he said what their fathers sowed is what Engineer Ibrahim Shehu wants to come and actualize by governing this state to fulfil their beautiful dreams for Zamfara.

He described Engineer Ibrahim Shehu Bakauye as a compassionate man, a patient man, and a man who always wishes that those below him surpass him in terms of life progress.

He added that they thank Almighty Allah and the people of Zamfara because the struggle Engineer Ibrahim Shehu has been making to secure the ticket to contest for the governorship seat, today Allah has destined him to have this great opportunity to become the governorship candidate of Zamfara State.

The people of Gusau and Tsafe know who Engineer Ibrahim Shehu is, likewise all 14 local governments and 147 wards know who he is. He has not been a Governor before, he has not been a Senator before, but the entire Zamfara has benefited from his leadership.

Today, as Zamfara celebrates 30 years of its creation, we look at Engineer Ibrahim Shehu Bakauye as the light of Zamfara, he concluded.

But both Atiku and Obi could have dropped their selfishness in the interest of "rescuing" Nigeria and formed a formidable alliance, be it ADC or NDC or LP. The two horse race didn't need to be PDP, just a formidable opposition party. Right now, neither of them (ADC and NDC) can defeat APC.
BTW: APC doesn't need to rig election, the party already has enough members to deliver the winning, trust me
