@Brabus. Thanks a lot for the breakdown. Yes it is a storey building just like yours. Would the estimate be reduced if it is just a building of two flat ground floor. I am thinking the cost of iron rods will be reduced since it is not going to hold any decking. I dont wan't to embard on a project to be abandoned later. If i am spending 1.2 Mil. on the foundation, Decking would be gulping 3 Mill then plus roofing. Please advice.

@ Brabus. The floor plan is way too large but the land is at Elebu near Jericho in Ibada. I am attaching the estimate i have been given. Thanks for your help.

With all due respect to the opener of this wonderful thread. I need all from the contributors. I live abroad and i am starting my 4 flats project in Ibadan and i have been  given a quatation of =N= 1.2 MILLION for the foundation. Is this quotation reasonable? I need help from people currently building their house. Once again, due respect to the owner of the thread. I am in no way trying to derail your ever educating thread.

I am starting a project of 4 flats in Ibadan this June and i have been given an estimate of " 1.2 MILLION NAIRA " for the foundation. I don't know if this is reasonable as i haven't been in the country for a while now. I see this section as a place to seek help. Thanks and God bless.

Congrats On the progress of your building Bro. I am starting a similar building in Ibadan in a couple of weeks and i don't have a clue how much things are in Nigeria.Do you suggest i hire someone to supervise the building?

Hello house. I have seen many helpful topics on the property section of this forum and i think this might help. I live abroad and i want to start developing my 4 bed modern bungalow in Ibadan. I would be glad if you could please let me know the current cost of building materials so i won't be ripped off. Here are my questions.
1- What is the cost of the foundation.
2-Cost of blocks/cements
3-How much do i need to pay the supervisor.
4- Cost of beautiful doors/gates
5-Cost of roofing 
6- Fencing
7-Interlocking.

       Anyone in the house with a modern building plan for a 4 bed bungalow with the following fretures;
             
         - Pillars
         - all ensuite
         -Very modern {Like those seen in nollywood films}
         - pictures acceptable
         -Double lounge.
         -Bar
