Omooba77:Even when the rules are not fair to one party? Oga go and sleep. If you claim to be a church, should you place rules that only place you in advantage? So after spending millions on a structure, I should abandon it because it is a "rule"? Isn't that taking advantage of others, something Christ warned you against? Would you do that to someone? This your weak defense of your thieving church isn't convincing anyone. Go and sleep, RCCG spokesperson |
A pastor won't ask people to sign an agreement to build a property on a piece of land that they will eventually forfeit if they leave the church. That I'm sure of. That is FRAUD |
Euouae:Bros me sef I weak. I thought I was the only one that saw that part. The grace no longer comes from God. It is now Oyedepo's grace. Yet we are supposed to believe these people aren't brainwashed and that these con men in suit aren't taking people for long rides. It is no surprise why there won't be this kind of rebellion. Because the grace of Oyedepo. Sigh |
Omooba77:Mumu, What kind of fraudulent agreement will a supposed "church" make that will make you forfeit the property you build on a piece of land? And you wonder why the president says you are lazy |
Omooba77:I think you should apply the above to yourself. If you think RCCG is being honest by encouraging people to build on their land and asking them to leave the land when they leave the church, then I have nothing but utter sympathy. I just had to put that out there to remind you that I do not indulge simpletons. You are already establishing a pattern by claiming Liberia is a "sane clime" after telling us that you should build on a land that ultimately won't belong to you. So I think it is your integrity that needs to be checked because you are not being honest in your assertion. Please leave me a lone, this deranged mor0n. Do not quote me if you don't have anything sensible and tangible to discuss. I don't entertain foolishness and my tolerance for your id1ocy is reaching my elastic limit. |
Omooba77:Another daft post. But coming from someone who thinks Liberia is part of the "sane" world, there is no need to respond. You obviously are too slow to get the drift of the argument. It is a waste to try to make a case to someone who believes that when you build on RCCG land and leave thereafter, you should carry your house and go and leave the land. There's no way I will ever make sense to this person. Please don't respond. I am allergic to mor0nic intellect. Don't infect me with your intellectual handicap. |
walexbiz:Please I do not appreciate your insults. I didn't address you in the first place so I don't understand why I have to have a "paymaster" simply because I don't agree with you. You do not know me in any way, shape or form, yet you are forming keyboard intellectual and internet warrior. I don't care about your so-called political stance, because it does nothing for me. Focus on the topic and hand and stop beating about the bush with inanities. The Nigerian youth is morally, ethically and intellectually bankrupt. Your argument reeks of my position. You don't know anything about me but you have gone to town that I must belong to a paylist of praise singers. It is your type that thinks that you can do better than what we have. So I really don't have to waste my time trying to disprove of anything because I will only b appealing to the crass ignorance you havedisplayed. Old people you say? Please go through history, past and present, and tell us how many "old" people are presently at the helm of world affairs: At the drop of a hat: Malcolm Turnbull (Prime Minister of Australia)-63 years Theresa May (Prime Minister of Britain)- 61 years Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany)-63 years Mariano Rajoy Brey (Prime Minister of Spain)-63 years Donald Trump -71 years. These are the present day world leaders who I didn't have to check the internet for. At least according to you, these people in "sane climes" cannot be said to be youths, yet they are at the helm of affairs in these countries. If I did a lot more research, I would find more compelling cases to shut your nonsense logic about age and leadership. If you don't have anything tangible to say to me, please face your front, and don't quote me. It's too early to be engaging foolish people in foolish talk this morning. |
rusher14:I was with you and your position till you decided to engage that nitwit. This is a nitwit who decided to defend RCCG with the dullest excuse about land belonging to RCCG. Please no harm meant but I think you won't get anywhere jaw-jacking with that fellow. Please stick to your position. You have very valid points. Please learn to avoid people who won't use metrics and facts to argue, instead base their positions on sentiments. If Nigerian youths were as creative as some of these people say they are, we would obviously see a huge difference. Please you are to smart to get involved with lazy people like the guy you are engaging. |
PaChukwudi44:GBAM! |
Cromcruach91:you still have not answered my question. Please go back and answer why those primary and secondary schools owned by these churches are out of reach for even middle class families, and why the ones belonging to the missionaries were subsidized by the missionaries when they came to the point that it was affordable even to the poor. I don't need to read all this mumbo jumbo. You gave the impression that Primary and secondary schools owned by missionaries were cheap because they were subsidized by the churches. So if that is the case, explain why Christ the Redeemer's Primary School and Redeemers High School for instance have high fees Please don't shift the goalposts on this one. |
Cromcruach91:Except that some of these churches also have Secondary and Primary schools well beyond the reach of average Nigerians. So what is your point? |
npn001:so haven't you been reading? your will have to fold your house and carry it on your head when you leave RCCG. The land is not your own o. You have been warned about buying RCCG land |
GlobalGisting:No need. The fool will still probably not choose to understand even if you schooled him every day all day. Acts 15: 5-10 : 5 Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.” 6 The apostles and elders met to consider this question. 7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.” They are still testing God by forcing us to obey Laws given to the Jews, when Christ has already set us free. This is coming from none other than Peter, when the issue of compulsory circumcision came up. But these greedy ba$tards won't let us be. |
RALPHOW:It's ignorant blockheads like these that make me boil with anger. You don't see a sneaky attempt to make people forgo their property by saying the land doesn't belong to them? |
alobright17:That's all the more proof that there is truth in what the pastor is saying. I have heard my share of ridiculous things in this life, but the one where you are supposed to carry your house and leave the land for RCCG definitely ranks among the daftest things I have ever heard. For one, why would I build a house on someone else's land? Isn't that a fraudulent way to acquire other people's property? Shouldn't the proper thing to do be to sell the land in line with the Land ?Use Act where the owner has the deed for like 99 years? If this "worker" feels the best defence he can give for the church after obviously being compelled to do so is this rubbish where he thinks we are foolish little children, then he shouldn't have bothered. Some of us actually know better, despite what he thinks. We all know it. RCCG is a business entity. All about the money. The land at redemption camp is for sale, irrespective of what this loafer tells us. |
This topic will never see the light of day on the front page. Because it doesn't have BBNaija, Davido/Wizkid, Tonto Dikeh, Pastor Adeboye lying about non-tithers going to hell, etc. A very seminal and important lecture x-raying and diagnosing the problems of the almost moribund education sector will be an after thought. Blind mods only know how to push rubbish to the front page about snakes and nudity, Kudos Prof. I believe you are a product of the good days when Universities were worth their salt. Nowadays it is thugs and criminals masking as ASUU activists who are only interested in their pockets. |
Branzy:This table you are shaking. . . |
We used to think Win 6th Draw 6th Lose 6th But now ordinary Burnley is just 2 points behind. The kind and degree of uselessness that Arsenal personifies has not been revealed to flesh and blood. No away point in 208 3 1/2 months in. But stüpid idiots like that wall gecko Gogo shake sef go dey add mouth join. |
Ibime:He is already asking for £50 million for Thiago of Bayern. Last last his side will still concede the minimum 5 goals on aggregate while exiting the champions league quarter finals next season. Bald fraud. |
alBHAGDADI:Lol. False doctrine you say? Guy get off your high horse and stop disturbing us this morning with your needless rants. Tell your bishop's and GOs that are more concerned with building their kingdoms here on earth and flaunting their possessions and calling it God's glory to stop their own false doctrines too before you talk about Freeze. Grow some balls and try questioning some of these chaff they are feeding you instead of mumuicly jumping on people with different opinions. At least Freeze has an argument. You and your ilk thrive on abuses and insults and attacks on personality as your main stay. |
And Adeboye skipped the part in Matt 23:23 where Christ was addressing Pharisees. Adeboye wants to apply a message to the Pharisees to us. The same Pharisees Christ had earlier described as a brood of vipers. Maybe there are Pharisees out there today that still carry out the Jewish law. But I know Matt 23:23 is not for any believer. Simple and short. You cannot be justified by the works of the Law. |
This OP still can't get Freeze out of his mouth. Instead of ignoring him you are unknowingly and inadvertently giving him more publicity. All this lengthy write up with so much folly. You haven't given a mite to anyone yet you type this crate of codswallop. Everybody is struggling for front page topic. Added to the möronic mods too who push every stupïd post to said front page.By evening time it will be BB Naija rubbish that will flood the same front page. |
hopefulLandlord:Honestly this pastor adebole is just a pure fraud. Nothing more. I am no saint but I should be a better contender for heaven than this con man using scaremongering tactics to coerce and fleece people out of their money |
pstjoga:Arrant garbage. If you can't ask questions of your superiors, then you are no better than those religions you are indirectly shading and you are in a cult. Even Paul had to call out Peter for his double standards. I'm sure if you were alive back then you would label Paul as insane. |
Cromcruach91:With due regard, You still haven't gotten the true gist of the whole argument sir. If Christians were just 10% sincere to their message, this country would be a lot better off. It's not about the number of churches. It's about how true we are to obeying and reflecting Christ's message. That's the underlying point I see. He is partly right to question why we are so vast in churches but so backward and selfish. I would like you to admit that part before countering him with your points. |
happinesssssssss:And when has that become the issue? Of what good is being a "better religion" ,according to you, when it can't affect anything around it? I hate these morônic arguments. You haven't told us what your own religion contributes, instead your direct response is to abuse another. |
Cromcruach91:With due respect, you have no argument If religion cannot affect your character then it is worthless. Christ says "let your light so shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your father in Heaven", meaning that there is no need for being a Christian just for the sake of it. Christ's message is supposed to positively affect your entire life. With the amount of religiosity displayed in this country, we should be the best country the world. That is his point. And sadly, the reverse is the case. Until that is proved to be so(I.e. the link between character and religion) then religion can be viewed as a problem since it is everywhere but obviously has no positive effect on us all. |
airmark:You be geologist?

paxonel:Pls tell me you're joking or trolling.

@afrodoc2, I remember in 2001 when Leeds reached the CL semi final and United crashed out earlier. My friend who was schooling in the U.K. told me that Leeds fans started taunting United fans for that singular achievement. Forgetting that we won the competition just two years prior. I also remember one tie at Elland in February 2000. The build to that tie started the friction Beckham had withFergie. Beckham missed training because his son was ill. It appeared that there was more to it. Beckham did not play that game and despite winning the game Leeds took us to the limit. I think it was Yorke who scored the decider. I was recovering from surgery and watched the game on a hospital bed. Then there was the tie where Leeds effectively killed off our title hopes in 2004 with a 1-1 draw at OT. We were behind Arsenal having played a game more prior to the game. Alan Smith scored a quick equalizer for Leeds. They were fighting against relegation and ultimately went down at the end of the season and haven't returned to the premier league ever since |
afrodoc2:Yes indeed. Your post prompted me to do a research on the rivalry. The rivalry was much more than what obtained on the pitch. I started seeing things like "war of the roses". The rivalry has its roots in Manchester vs Yorkshire. Municipal rivalry: which one is better; similar to what would have been if a Lagos-Abuja rivalry existed. Just like the Liverpool rivalry. It's a shame Leeds when belly-up. I think they were beginning to emerge as a force until they went bust. I remember Rio's first game at Elland road after joining United. That game was highly anticipated and very feisty. Their fans celebrated their win like they had won the title. Apparently that transfer lit fires under their belly and beating us meant more to them than actually challenging for the title. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that someone remembers that Leeds are top rivals to United. |
obainojazz:Even his goalkeeper used to think he was a fraud. https://www.dreamteamfc.com/c/news-gossip/225233/man-city-ederson-pep-guardiola-tweet/
