good pm dockays and dockays to be.....please I want clarification about this.... I just gained admission for MSc physiology Ui for 2014/2015. academic session... I intend doing direct entry to MBBS in university of Ibadan immediately I round up my MSc.... my question is this.... is it ideal to take 2015/2016 direct entry form ? I learnt Ui penalise for double admission...at the time of resumption for 2015/2016, I would have been through with my MSc final exams.... I would be grateful if my question is treated... thanks great medics....

Students are not allowed to cross from one professional course to anoda in UI. I don't see any reason for a dental student to cross to MBBS anyway. Becos at d end of d day u collect d same amount of salary with dem.

The system here is a totally different thing... we do microbiology...epidemiology.. psychology....medical sociology right from 200.. n yes. d whole preclinicals is in 38weeks . . but d breaks n exams make it longer
meanwhile ..here in unilorin, when u get 55 ...u jump for glory. .. I heard of how pple just blast 70s n 80s in other schools n I laff..
I don't know why our lecturers have turned d system to a hard thing for students.

@factorial,i applied,i just got mail that application fee payment is cancelled.

The email was as follows.
(Application fee payments is thereby cancelled.
Application fee payment is no longer required.
All that is required is to scan,and submit a valid id card,and and statement of result,or waec certificate,so that an application number will be issued to you.

The main determinant is the courses being offered. If the courses being offered by those in medicine is the same as those being offered by students in MLS, there is definitely "a huge crossing chance" only if the required CGPA is met. Addition of courses is employed if the situation above is not the case but it must not violate the MAX total unit and personal ability too should be considered here.. To cap it all, your present department must be ready to release you and the department you want to cross to also must be willing to accept you, if not, even if you have 7.0( UI for instance) cgpa, you are going no where.

Calm down dude. i've been to futa times without number. i know every nooks and crannies both at 'oba nla' and 'oba kekere',Futa is a good school,no doubt about that.
But to equate Futa's school of engineering with OAU faculty of technology is like try to force a camel through the hole of a needle. are u kidding?

moreover,some of our lecturers are visiting lecturers at Futa,if u doubt if me,as those in school of earth and mineral science(SEMS)
OAU faculty of technology and the college of health sciences attract the best brains across Nigeria yearly.

Ubijus1: They paid 175k last year bc the award was worth 75k before. They increased it to hundred just last year.
So, it meant 75k for their 100l and ultimately, 100k for their 200l.
Since the award's worth has been reviewed to 200k last year, I think it's logical to conclude that they would pay us 200k. What do u think miss?
