Read the link I sent you, you can forward the message, to confirm the authenticity of the message. If message turns out to be real, you can add this with your evidence, to the parking adjudicator........
Thank you for this tips boss
Grateful

Likely a scam. Have you done an online search?
Such tickets are based on ones V5C details and sent in the post.
Also, do the details match that of your car? I.e the reg no e.t.c?
Yes the car reg on the sms is correct, I mean, it's mine
The sms was sent via a number....
I visited the site and input my case reference... was directed to payment interface

The (3) menu options on the site only directs you to the same payment interface....

See the attached screen shots

If you only received an SMS message, it's most likely a scam.......

How did the parking enforcement company, have access to your telephone number....... 😁

Did you receive any payment reminders, through the post.....

Do some more digging to avoid paying scammers..... Whilst dodging scammers trap, confirm to avoid facing excessive increments, car clamping etc etc, just incase the ticket is REAL.......
I only received sms - one time sms
No payment reminder of any sort... neither the post or email/sms

The car reg number on the sms is mine.
I have been trying to find out the exact location the parking ticket was issued? Most likely a camera issued coz no physical ticket on windscreen.

Dunno how else to dig?

Brethren is this real or some kinda scam?
I got this sms now (at the end)
I can't remember getting any parking ticket of any sort
I have tried to view where exactly this happened?
I called them endlessly but no agent picking up the call they only kept repeating the option 1 to make a payment automatically, same is applicable on their website where you can only make payment. The worst, I saw its £170 to be paid...
How?

Please can someone help me cox this is getting man crazy... still have £20 outstanding payment at the garage where car was fixed? Which kind play be this nah?

@Bwisewiturvot My approach would be to do the best I can to create the best opportunities for my child/children. So I would say if you can, please do. I did same over a decade ago but then we were was in Naija (did it in yankee). I think most of the principles might still be slightly be same (or changed significantly with the whole immigration brouhaha). I think there is a related thread that deals with it here so search it out. Just make sure you pay all your fees and collect receipts ( you might have to chase them for receipt), please don't leave without receipt, and always have it with you in your subsequent travels back to the country as you might get asked. Also you might want to research locations where the health care cost might be lower. I reckon the cost might be cheaper in Sask than Toronto( this is just an example).

You've got time so you will need to do a lot of research. In my case then I had to go a city were we had no family as the cost was a lot lower even when airbnb stay (extended stay) was added. Research everything not just the birthing process but also documentation process after baby comes. Its a huge project you about to embark so plan am well. I remember back then taking a loan of N1.6 million naira which converted to just over $10,000 ( those were the good days of exchange rate) to add to our saved funds for the process. We were complaining that the rate were high, if only we knew. Back then we already had US visit visas prior to finding out wifey was pregnant. So before she left for the US we wrote to the embassy in lagos and abuja, about our intent to give birth with the same visa we got for visit. They both replied that we should make sure we pay all our bills which we did. This gave us comfort to embark on the trip as sometimes people get turned back at point of entry. With these letters we had full confidence.
This is well detailed and encourging...thank you!
Have shared your response with my partner grin
The argument is - but we are already in the UK not naija grin
5 years IHS fully paid - we have to maximise the payment o - not paying for another health care charges in another country 😀

Cost of applying for another visa, temp accommodation, logistics etc -: when we are already abroad? - obodo oyibo is obodo oyibo grin

When your partner is from a particular region in Nigeria, you go press calculator tire grin

We are still negotiating on the expenses sharing formula if implemented, I just hope the matter scales through the 2nd parliamentary hearing.... still at the consultation phase

Many thanks for this tip... will strive for the little one to get a sound identity even if it doesn't work. out at the end of day, we move atleast I made effort

Please gurus, will appreciate more inputs on the subject matter... I am happy to DM if you wish to share the hacks privately cool

CA is always a good option just ensure you pay all the right and accurate medical bills as a non resident or visitor. In my opinion it’s worth all the investment as I have seen someone who did it. Get your visitor visa as the first step if you haven’t.
Thanks for the info

Hey people...
In between, we are 7 weeks pregnant...
We want to shoot our chances of our little one getting a passport by birth cool
Looking at CA or any other location
Our skilled worker visa have got 4 years left on the 5 year route to settlement - nothing changes.
Is it worth having the baby outside the UK? - you already know the sole reason of wanting to.
Please your candid advise

Hail the gurus in the house
Please i don't mean to digress from the ongoing matter
Just two quick questions way dey worry me.

1) me and our kids have been drinking the Thames water, I mean tap water and I have heard some many different views about how safe it is to drink it infact the last one that got me so worried was when someone mentioned in the heat of an argument that she suspects the tap water contributes to the level of autistic kids... shocked

I realised I usually see white colour substances deposits-sticked to the kettle or pot after boiling water... wondering if same substances deposits inside the body after drinking. We are Beginning to consider bottle water but the consumption and cost no go be here
Please your candid advise

2)I have been over 3years in the country and have been striving really hard to climb the property ladder but we keep spending out of 10% deposits savings (saved in separate account) though some spendings are inevitable financial obligations.
Please is it a bad idea or decision as a first timer to jump into Rent to buy scheme or shared ownership option to secure our first home?
Abi all we need is more strictly financial discipline on our deposit savings as the thing keep fluctuating
Thank you gurus,
Your input would be highly appreciated
Una thank you very much

Let's start with doors, there is no truth in saying local metal doors are better than Turkish doors. There are specific Turkish or even China made doors that will last for many years without issues, even without regular use. The only place a local door will compete with a Turkish door is in cost difference. Local doors are sometimes cheaper. Then you can also order your local welded doors to be done with more thickness, which improves its durability and strength.

Windows are pretty much the same way, there are aluminium windows, local and foreign profiles, there are other newer models and you have to choose what you want.

Plastering is a long story, maybe I will need to write an article about it. I have completed the fill finish of more than 50 houses in Eastern Nigeria. I am also based there. Please send me a WhatsApp message if you want more details and pictures as I find it more difficult attaching pictures to my posts here these days. 0803 335 0750. Thanks.
Oga Boss you too much....straight to your DM

Greetings to the elders and guru in the house.
I have read the much I can as a first time builder.
We have managed to completely roof the building, now looking out to securing it, I mean, outside doors installation, windows installation and then plastering plus screeding.

Please, it's a duplex in one of the south eastern states, located in the village to be precise.
I understand metal doors would be ideal more than the regular turkey doors or wooden doors because they would rotten easily due to non-regular usage. Is this correct?

Please can the gurus and active members here recommend a (if turkey or local metal door) door professional

Modern window professional and then, like I heard Togo plasterers or any good plasteres plus screeders here.

These three are what's needed for now, to complete this stage.

Gurus and active members, i will highly appreciate your recommendations (tested and trusted contractors) of these trio
Those willing to work in the south east region preferably

Many thanks

I greet una elders
Please I intend to travel to Nigeria in October with my daughter for just a week.
My daughter will be two years in November 31st. Gave birth to her here in the UK and she has only got her birth certificate and Brp.

Please i just want to ask;
Will this trip in anyway affect her becoming citizen after the required 7 years?
Also can we fly (to n fro) with just her brp/birth certificate without a Nigeria passport as she hasn't got one at the moment.

Also learnt kids less than 2 years do not or pay lesser flight fare? Is this correct?

Lastly, how do I go about getting her a passport as soon as I can?
To enable me book ahead of time and get a reasonable pocket friendly flight ticket,

Meanwhile can I book our flight now perhaps use another form of I.D for her while I process the intl passport coz I know it wouldn't be a nice idea if I try to get her passport 1st before booking coz I'm not certain how long this process takes.

Please guys your advise would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

To deceive, confuse, enforce and fight people online
That is bribery and corruption...you are part of the reason why this nation has refuse to progress because of a plate of porridge yam.

My prayer is that the sickness, diseases, havoc, atrocities that has ever happened to Nigeria/Nigerians in the past years...may it come upon you, your immediate family, extended family and entire generation. You shall never go Scott free

You are free from this curse if you are willingly campaigning for your choice of candidate online free of charge...

Ask all those who collected bribe, laptop and 30k per month to deceive the masses with false news, documents, photos etc
They all partaked in the after effects then it was too late
They have come again to offer you a token and jobs afterwards...you are no different from the thugs and hire assassins they utilise to achieve their evil dreams.
