makonko:
The Federal Government must ensure equal distribution of slots to all states in the upcoming 7000 recruitments into the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), a member of the Houses of Representatives has said.

Rep Daniel Reyenieju (PDP, Delta) was reacting to last week’s approval by the Federal Government for the recruitments.

“If the Federal Government can distribute all the slots equally across the 36 states of the federation, Abuja inclusive, it will go a long way in reducing the agitation for restructuring, secession, cries of marginalization and militancy in the Niger Delta,” he said.

The lawmaker urged those responsible for the recruitment to ignore pressures from all quarters and do justice to the process as each state would get 189 slots if distributed equally.

“In the past, the allocation of jobs had been lopsided and this has further generated bad blood nationwide resulting in all the agitations in different parts of the country,” he said.

since they become casual tax officers hope it won't affect our recruitment because we still bear same name even though there is the community liaison clause, imagine! 7500 staffs and 5000 Jr staffs, "which work we go come dey do again".

Good info brother, ypu are on point. But please I will like to know if the recruitment will be concluded this year and from what you said that the recruitment is been reviewed in lagos, does it mean the HR department will not be involved again?
.

if HR won't be involved, Lagos branch can even do worse than Abuja, let's just believe God to fight for us that's all.

Yasir where are you?

the truth is that we all need patience, because they are working on it now, not even in Abuja office but the Lagos Office, there the panel for the recruitment would publish the list. everyone just need to calm down. it is true that some people where employed early this year, that has nothing to do with the recruitment. they were like 35 in number, last year before the advert for the recruitment they employed more than a 100 Managers,Asst Managers, Tax officer 1 and 2. all these secret recruitment has nothing to do with the August recruitment of 2016. there are a lot of vacancies to be filled in the service nation wide.

does DAT mean we will be employed directly without test as they did earlier or there will he test and interview?

There are so many wrong notions and primitive comments here, that I just so wish I can reply all.

Guys, Nigeria is becoming better already, and we have to believe so, even if it by Faith, and stop making conclusions, especially on issues we are not very sure about. We are the youths, the agent of change, and we need to come to the fact, that except we decides to change this country, things will actually continue the way they are, and the change begins from us, that's when we look at issues with renewed mindset, because for the fact that "that is the way is has been", does not mean it should be like that for ever.

So to correct the notions of the two quoted comments: Please be aware that the said 27 unemployed graduate are "ordinary" volunteers like every other volunteers out there. But they are not 2017 set of volunteers. There are few with matching qualifications from the 2016 sets, but who has not already been selected.

So you see, they went through all the recruitment process just like everyone, and if you or anyone else wants to doubt that, check the screenshot below. That is for me. But I have not registered this year. I registered last year, under Npower Tech Software. But I have BSc in Business Administration, with very serious Grade, which could be the reason for the selection, and of course glory to Jesus.

So please, let stop believing in the old Nigeria... Let stop believing in the old order of things. Let us all, with hope coupled with a renewed mind and seasoned words, believe in the New, Better Nigeria that is free and void of corruptions. Until then, nothing positive will ever happen in this country.

Anyway... To all the new and aspiring volunteers reading through this thread, I wish you best of luck in your career pursuit. The truth is N-power registration this year was not as competitive as it was last year, but 200,000 graduates still made it in, and I just believe you'll make it too. So good luck.

l also applied last yr, this yr the samething, could you plz do me a favour by helping me? I studied business Administration, converted to accounting (ANAN)
