The Deputy Speaker of HoR in charge of the House committee for constitution amendment flexed his own new found power. He conscripted local govt areas from the five states to demand for Etiti state; thereby leaving Enugu and Ebonyi states tinier, each left with about 10 or 11 local government areas. But he wants Imo state to remain with 25 local government areas still because he wants his own Etiti state.
To deny the Imo-Anambra location naturally fit for a 6th state in the south-east, some Igbo people manufacture tales from the moonlight.

Like we say in Nigeria, government is a continuum. If Rochas Okorocha had built quality projects, Hope Uzodinma, regardless of how bad he is, would've focused on other areas.

Today, he's building something as basic as roads, including those Rochas Okorocha claimed he constructed. These are pictures of roads Hope Uzodinma completed recently.

The 2.7km Toronto/Ekemegbuoha road and the 8.4km Toronto/Orji road.

First, Along the length of that entire road from Awka to Akokwa in IMO state, there is hardly any 20m without meeting built up areas.
2) The road itself is a federal road that have been abandoned and forgotten by the federal govt but all the while the state have been only maintaining it just to keep it motorable.
3) The road portion at the Uga-Nkpologwu was the old Uga airport of the Biafra war days but have become part of the road.
4) If the Akokwa to Orlu portion will be completed also,by IMO state Govt. it will be a major bypass to Owerri, against moving to Onitsha if you are coming from Enugu. Thereby decongesting the traffic at Upper iweka in Onitsha.
5) Soludo for hear am if this were to be a state road. Good luck to him when it comes to recovering his money from the FG. Its a strategic road anyways if I may say.
