jesusjnr2020:
For me it has never been in question ever since I began to walk with God closely, because I have always thought the prosperity gospel was a scam and a fraud and have been preaching against it passionately for decades up til date, so the denouncement of the gospel by Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar of recent was only a confirmation of the view I've always held.

I can remember over fifteen years ago, a friend of mine who knew well how passionately I preached against that doctrine, brought a printed donation slip of Benny Jinn ministries which contained some of the doctrines' ideas, as if to tell me that that if someone like Benny Hinn could preach such, then who am I?

Fast forward about fifteen years later, the same Benny Hinn would come out to also denounce such ideas of the doctrine as contained in that donation slip and apologized for them.

That proved that it's not about who's wealthy or well-respected or popular, but who's saying the truth.

It also proves that such church leaders are not inerrant, and they could yet be misleading many souls.

Imagine how many souls have been misled by Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar when they were preaching it for decades, considering how influential they were in the Christendom?

I wonder what my friend thinks now that the same person he looked up to had dumped the 'prosperity' doctrine he believed in.

That's why it's important to follow Christ instead of men even though they be true men of God.

God bless.
They are NOT true men of God but thieves and wolves in sheep clothing with the blood of millions on their hands.

Especially in Africa, the prosperity gospel together with Pentecostalism and the charismatic movement is God's judgement.

When people reject the truth, they must swallow error.

How do you guys buy DATA Subscription to browse the internet?

Do you buy like the way we buy in Nigeria...MTN 1gb, 2gb etc that can not even last for a week.

How do you people do yours over there because I noticed that a majority of you over there can video call for the whole world?
I live in the Schengen zone. Yes we buy data like you buy but it's cheaper and more reliable.

PropertiesHow Can I Manage My Property While Overseas? by Caffeine(op): 4:00pm On Oct 10, 2022
Hello friends,
I am out of the country but have property back home. I don't recall the exact dimensions but it's at least a 100x100 (and a bit more) with a 3 bedroom apartment in it.

I am the eldest son with 2 brothers who are also overseas and our parents are deceased. We do not plan to live in Nigeria for the next 10 years (or whenever Osinbajo becomes president grin ).

We do not really want to sell (unless we receive a super-lucrative offer).

How can I best manage the property so that it doesn't deteriorate - especially the house. I do not go to Nigeria often.

The property is in the gwagwalada area of Abuja.

I may rent it out but I am a bit scared because I know that tenants in Nigeria can be unreliable and outright wicked. What will be your advice in such a case, I have not done this sort of thing before.

Are there any reputable/respectable agencies that manage properties for absentee landlords?

If there is an existing thread on this topic, kindly point me to it.

Johnnyjohnnyman:
Sorry bro I don't think that's a good idea , why would you punish a innocent child for her mother sin? Don't you think letting her to go would be better than allowing her stay for you not to treat the child equally because the child will grow to know that her step father had never liked her it will affect her badly. If I choose to forgive and accept the child I will continue to be taking care of her just like I am doing now until the day she will leave my house. I will not treat her any different. Unfortunately I can't for my own sanity both mother and child must go
You're a decent man, and I hope, a godly one too. Please beware of advice from strangers on the internet.

May God grant you much wisdom in this trying time. Stay close to Christ, brother

I think CAN should design a large emblem of dignity made of pure Gold and diamonds, which can only be bestowed by the leaders of the topmost section of christianity collectively. It should only be given to dignified and approved men/women of God. This would serve as a sign of approval alongside weed of every Tom dick and harry parading as men/women of God.
You're assuming that CAN is in a position to say which church is true and which isn't huh

Jesus is God.
Jesus is son of God.
Jesus is son of Man.
Jehovah is God.
Holy spirit is God.
And God is one.

Sin against the holy spirit is unforgivable.
When Jesus was about to be baptized a voice said " This is my beloved son in whom I'm well please." So Jesus was talking to himself right?

When Jesus was dying he said Eli Eli... My Lord, My Lord...

He was calling himself again right?

"All authority on heaven and earth have been given to me" by who?

My father is greater than I.

Why did Jesus always say "my father"?

Our father who is in heaven...

Father was never on earth but in heaven!

In aspiring to become a President in Nigeria, you must be versatile and join a political party. There is what I called "Noise" in politics especially in Nigeria. This means you be a noise maker by criticising the government constructively for your voice to be heard and if you are not with them at the center initially that will make them draw you close because you are a product. When you are close with them, you skyrocket you presidential ambition.

You must have a buoyant financial wherewithal capability because politics in Nigeria is all about money, an Igbo will say Ego.

books to read:
10 Laws Of Leadership by Bill Newman
Multiply Your Success Lead by Sam Adeyemi ( You can still read other some of his books)
The 48 Laws of power by Robert Greene
The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill.

Good profile of yours. Have you ever join any fraternity?

No, I haven't, do I need to? I'm quite sensitive about the company I keep smiley

Have you ever been a leader of any group, society or
community?

I have held leadership of some really small groups here in Germany, but not in Nigeria. So...

Have you ever employ people, atleast 100?

No, but I plan to start a company in education, so I hope one day I can surpass that milestone

In your community and it outside? What class of

associate did you have, how did you touch thier lives?

Uh, this is a bit hard to answer to. I certainly haven't had wide scale impact yet.

What business you or your family are into?

My immediate family isn't into any business at least as far as I know smiley

No vex we are talking about being a Nigeria president.

No please! I appreciate the conciseness of your questions. They are making me think. I guess I now begin to have a hint of what I need to do. More advice is welcome please smiley Obviously you have expertise in this. Thank you!

Great profile you've got here. Just add a little of more voluntary services, make some noise whether sensible or insensible like lady F, to gain some publicity. You can start by directly criticising the present govt. Where you think they've failed.

Maintain your stance on a particular issue like puttin. When an opportunity comes and you're consulted or staged, make sure you got something up the sleeves.

It will come to a time you will be offered positions, money, contract to compromise your stance, say or do otherwise. Make sure you know what you're looking for and why.

With consistent character, popularity, and money a lot of it. You might have the chance when Nigeria becomes better.
Wow, I'll keep all these in mind, thank you so much!

Yes, remember to write family background if your ambition is in Nigerian politics.
Great!
Age: I just turned 20.
Faith: Christian, I'm super tolerant of people of all faiths, and those without.

Educational background: University 3rd year, Heidelberg university, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. I major in Information Technology, but I find myself increasingly drawn to management, and business, and politics smiley I don't really have an ambition to go to graduate school, I guess I'm impatient to contribute to the world grin I also did a semester of exchange studies in Tokyo, Japan.

Family Background: Very humble smiley I'm from Cross River State. My mom is a civil servant in public health, Dad was a soldier, he is now late, more than a decade ago. I'm fortunate to win a scholarship to study abroad.

I think I'm pretty smart, certainly ambitious. I'm working hard on my people skills. I'm a member of Toastmasters International, so I know a thing or two about public speaking. I'm extremely Pan-African, and very passionate about the future of our country, to which I hope I can contribute. The way I speak about Africa and Nigeria, my friends joke that I will be president one day grin I deny it, but it's something I secretly hope I can be

I hope this is enough info. Will be happy to give more smiley

If you plan to be a good President then you must prepare adequately. Read wide, know a little above average about many areas of life, most especially economics, politics and administration. Have the fear of God in you and a kind, helping heart. Surround yourself with people of integrity and intelligence. If you're still in school then join a debate club, contest in (inter)departmental elections - even if you have no chance of winning. You will learn valuable lessons whether you win or lose.
Thanks for your advice bro. I recently contested in the international public speaking contest of Toastmasters. Didn't make it far, but I will try again. My aim is to become better at public speaking. I appreciate your help, thank you!
