Good Question you asked there but in my own humble opinion, Vehicle History is the last i will consider when buying a Car. We all seems to ignore an important message in the Vehicle History which says;

Auto-check report doesn't say it all, VIN: JT2BG22K2Y0433127 had 73% Auto check score as at the last time [b]{06/30/2011}[/b]it was updated. Anything could have happened between 06/30/2011 till when the Car was purchased in 2012 which may have never reported. Most Car History from Canada are not well updated when compared to Cars from USA and i stand to be corrected by anyone, but all in all, Autocheck doesn't guarantee a CAR is OK, scanning,inspection and test-drive is the best to do before making any purchase.
