Kemi has gone totally crazy anyway, she will never ever be prime minister. No white man or woman wants a negro woman to be there head. I can bet my 9inch penis on that. Kemi will never ever be UK prime minister. |

ValarDoharis: She is a black woman shouting our country. Don't kid yourself, you'll be driven with blacks if push turns to shove No way! Kemi would never ever be driven any where! first there are mixed and white blacks. second, blacks born in the UK and last black carribbeans and black africans, black carribeans and black africans is what you might be talking about driven and Kemi doesn't fall in that category. Kemi was born in the UK. |

IpobAntidote: This is common sense.
As much as despise Trump the village idiot, I agree with this one.
This is one of the main reasons why the village idiot won in the first place. Trump's team ran commercials on this issue all over the US almost every minute throughout the election.
Trans in sport, open border, and Kamala being a woman are the 3 main reasons why the village idiot won. So suddenly you agree with Trump? but when he starts deporting illegal immigrants you don't agree, you cannot have both, it is either you are with Trump or you are not. |

Nazgul: Tomorrow we'll accuse whites of racism whereas we've committed worse crimes against each other. We've been killing ourselves for decades and have continued to kill ourselves, we hate each other to the point where we can slit the throat of a fellow African without blinking an eye lid.
We Africans are our own problems. Yep! And what you would find is that all these killings are done unbehalf of the white man and greed..african would kill fellow african to get few crumbs from the white man. Africans hates and kills themselves more than any other continent on earth. |

Dougad: The atmosphere is different from where you come from and Nigeria. You travelled to a country that's economically equal to yours and I'm guessing it was solely for touristic purposes. And if it doesn't work out, you just shrug your shoulders and choose another destination when next you plan to vacation. In Nigeria however, the purpose of traveling is mostly in search of greener pastures for bettering your life. Failing to do so as is the case when deported can be a huge source of shame especially when people close to you and were aware of your initial sojourn get to know of it. When my Uncle traveled to the US and we couldn't hear from him for a while, there were lots of silent mockery from the extended side of the family that made its way to our ears. If he had failed and was eventually deported, he would have been a laughing stock. Yea, i had no problem been deported from Australia back to England. they even allowed me to have a mug or beer at the airport. Before taking me to their detention centre as they called it. I also ask if they could deport me the same day they said No. Yes, i see why it would be sad for an african or Naigeerian if they are deported. I think it is the Naigeerian society who makes people feel ashamed if/when they are deported. It is wrong. |

AirBay: Using my study as an example.
I paid 50% of the fees which was around 5000 pounds at that time and 2.5m naira.
The same course now costs 16000pounds, 50% is 8000pounds and almost 16m naira.
Uk school mandates that you pay 50% upfront now. Dammmm! £16k? And one must pay half of £16k? That is quite a substancial amount. £16k for a year or what? Is it worth paying such amount to study in the UK. |

Are you very good at football? Because thesedays there are so many very good footballers from africa. I remember one guy from Naiggeria Enugu, he was very good goal keeper when i met him on the train station, he invited me to watch his games, although he was still playing for free he say it was trials. Eventually when they wanted to sign him he didn't have work permit. I don't know what happened to him after that. I really really wanted him to do well. I thnk they were going to pay about £7000 a month with allowance. I forgot the name of that club that wanted him, i think it was Leyton Orient or West ham. |

Komu1048: Oga, my prayer is for people to continue to dey jakpa. Apart from money, advanced country also shape the thinking of our people. My friends that have jakpa seems to be more passionate and understand humanity more than those around. When I had cancer, it's my japa friend that not only support but do call to know how I'm feeling throughout the process, few naija guys cares to support either through finance or care. I don't blame them, the toxicity in this country is enough for you to only watch out for yourself and family only.
If I have opportunity I will jakpa but the thing is no money Sorry about your illness. I hope you are doing okay now. You are totally right, living in a sane envronment brings out the compassion in some africans. Maybe because they have experienced compassions too in the sane, compassionate and working system they live in abroad. Living in a sane working system is not just about finance. It is about peace of mind, security and comfortability. Be lucky! |

AirBay: Japa has been controlled systematically by the extreme devaluation of the naira.
UK was the easiest country to migrate to in the last 6-7years via the study route, as at then >=50% school fees ranges from 2.5-3.5m naira now, it is around 13-18m depending on the school. .
How many people fit afford 13m for 50% school fees.
Unfortunately we are back to the olden days pre 2010 where 90% of those who study abroad are polithiefcians children. Really? What does 13m 50% school fees mean? Could you explain please? |

Omoawoke: There are about 10 million undocumented immigrants in the US
With all this mass deportation, they can’t do up to 10%
Even in 4 years, america cannot successfully deport 1 million Don't you think that is too much illegals? Maybe not up to 10 million they can deport but they can try. Illegals are ussually crminals. |

God1000: Trump the psychopath and his gullible supporters revel in the miseries of others
Instead of deporting, why aren't they Vetting and Helping those that have been there for years to get their citizenship.
Seems they’re only concerned about the brown ones for now. Patiently waiting to see the flights to European and African countries
Meanwhile I hardly come across Japa thread these days on nairaland, I think it's time all countries tight their immigration laws especially developed countries and make it difficult for foolish trump supporters to travel out. Yea well.. there is nothing misery about people going back to their country India, they are Indians, i mean, why are people refusing to be taken back to their father's land? Why? It is the responsibility of every illegal immigrant to make themselves legal. When people are illegal in the US or any country it is easy for them to become criminals. And when they commit crimes it is difficult to catch them because their finger prints are not on the database. I support the deportation of ILLEGALs. Inshort, i agree with you that every developed country should make it difficulr for illegal immigrants to enter their countries. Everyone must stay in their own country and fix their country. I am a Trump supporter and i am not interested in entering America. I am happy living in my country where i was born. |

I have met him, i met also Dembele, Danny Rose, so many footballers, we weren't allowed to take selfies, otherwise i woulda had so many pictures of players. Sometimes my supervisor tell me to stand out side the door of their changing rooms as security.. the players just walk past me real life, for me it was always like a normal day at work, no big deal.. maybe because i am not a football fan. |
