Golan007: You jokers.
Guilt is clear in the Law.
It isn't ambiguous. So why da hell would an innocent man forfeit $460000? Why? No way in hell i am forfeiting my money if i am not guilty. Or if truely the money is not from proceeds of crimes. |

GigFc: Please leave there, Nigerians. Especially if you don't have any legitimate reason to be there, I'm sure you'd find a better place to stay in Nigeria than soweto. Leave? Soweto is far better than anywhere in Naigeeria. On another thread on here i just read that Naigeerian policemen tortured an innocent trycle rider to death in Enugu. So please, do not advice Naigeerians to leave SA. I didn't read where it was claimed a Naigeerian owns the spaza shop who sold the poisoned food. Stop being hysterical! |

Why ask them to leave? Or protesting, just don't buy their spaza or whatever they are selling, boycot their shops, and see them leave. Afterall they didn't force the food down anyone's throat. |

It's quite unfortunate that Nigeria is just growing older but nothing is getting better. We cannot even boast of one problem we have been able to solve as a country. It is absolutely apauling. It is time the masses fight back. Otherwise, who knows? Who might be next. |

UltraSolid: All most Nigerians know to do excellently is insult others and get personal while they suck at solutions provision or dispassionately effective critical thinking that develops nation. Nigeria is where she is because too many Nigerians are like you.
Yes I am lying. I am a con man who knows nothing about running a business let alone own one simply because I am saying what you don't want to hear or supporting the leadership of someone you hate bigotedly perhaps because of his ethnicity or religious background.
If you have ever met successful business folks, like Dangote or Tonu Elumelu and Otedola to Adenuga, you will know they are all likely good listeners. This is because, whatever they think of you personally, they are always open to learning to become more efficient.
They will therefore remain disposed to inspecting the logic of your utterances instead of immaturely attempting to dismiss or discredit all you say, as lies and rubbish, because they don't like your ethnic group or the tie you are wearing. More rubbish! his head tells him he is a critical thinker. You say people don't like your ethnic group? While you began this your bloody rant with pointing out Tifnubu's ethnic. You are still trying so hard to sell to me that you own several businesses, yet haven't mentioned one, don't you want your business to be recognised? Any businessman would take the opportunity to advertise their business by mentioning it, yet you claim to know business. Me, i am the king of Jordan.. And you ended here with the mention of ethnic group, you are paranoid about ethnicity. You don't even know what ethnic i am. |

UltraSolid: You personally can never see it because you were born a Yoruba-hating bigot. She is 100% correct. Those who have exposure, beyond Africa, and integrity can testify to what she is saying.
For example, PMS price in the UK is one of the highest in the world but that is not a concern of most Britons since it is not compulsory to own a vehicle, due to near excellent transport infrastructure, nor use petrol generator because power supply is constant and adequate.
Reforms that improve transport infrastructure and power supply are the sort Nigeria must embark on and see to the end. To that end, full deregulation off the downstream sector, is an enabler.
Yes Nigerians pay more for petrol but greater government income, aided by deregulation, means we can hopefully move towards becoming like developed nation that have real and globally relevant/desirable value in their economy rather than what obtains with Nigeria where we subsidized most things, including our currency, but do nothing well enough to benefit from it economically.
For example, Korea and Japan produce cars and electronics the world wants. They have desirable exports. When will Nigeria ever get close to resembling those nation when we want to languish in subsidy mediocrity rather than embrace reforms, painful in the short term, that will stimulate innovation, productivity and solutions-porvistiin nous Nigeria needs to compete and thrive in today's global economy?
Obdurately focusing on petrol price alone misses the big picture per where Nigeria needs to get to enroute to being a developed nation. We need great transport, steady power, proliferation of SMEs, a strong currency based on economic success anchored firmly on manufacturing and exporting more good and services than we import. Etc, etc.
How will all those happen with the subsidy lifestyle some want Nigeria to persevere with which only favours the outlook of Northern leaders who feel government money should basically provide a big and free food parlour for all?
Your bigotry will never allow you see the good a Yoruba man is trying to do. This guy is high on cheap weed. |

UltraSolid: I own several thriving businesses. I think outside the box. Unlike you. There is no doubt at all we must embrace badly-needed reforms, austere in the short term, or die. Nigeria is no different, because of decades of horrendous misrule, to Europe that was emerging from the second world war after 1945.
The continent, perhaps because of a more disciplined and better educated populace, accepted their reality and the need to bite the bullet and endure with reforms that will usher in a brighter future.
Where is Europe today, after the devastation of the second World War, in comparison to Africa? This guy is smoking cheap weed. he owns several businesses on Nairaland. that is what his head tells him after smoking cheap weed |

I am not sure about that but i know that my grand father still had a old British IDentity card from1945 before he died, the ID he used to travel at the tme to Britain during the cotton, cocoa and groundnut trade in Naigeeria. Like during the IDi Amin regime in Uganda all the Indians who were shipped from India to Uganda in the 1950s by the british, were all accepted as british citizens in the UK when Idi Amin expelled the Ugandan Indians. Some of them were given free accomodations in places like Liverpool, Birmigham, and many other british cities and towns |

Small boy. Naigeeria may have built jets in the 1980s but as the guy asserted electricity is what Naigeeria needs at the moment. There are better airplane builders about in 2024, Naigeeria cannot compete with. Naigeeria should resolve the hunger and electricity problems first. |

Drugs has murdered thousands of lives, left many families ruined, thousands in prisons all over the world. Community ruined, children left orphaned.
Once drugs is legalised all these crimes and murders will stop overnight! Clearly criminalising drugs like cocaine has contributed to devastations.
Just legalise and control the damm drugs, tax it and all these will stop! Afterall it is a billion dollar business, use it to provide jobs legally, develop the community, build hospitals, schools, affordable houses. The cartels are providing jobs with their drug business why can't the government?
I think their government are drug pushers also otherwise they use everything they have to fight these drug cartels. |
