Sir I am a registered surveyor, I run my business and make good profit, all with genuine evidences, wouldn't leave my firm that I've put in so much into cos of a us trip.
They are also both Medical doctors and it's also a tie I think. Medical doctors are highly regarded here and in the US. So I don't think the VO thought they will abscond. You got travel history to Dubai and SA and they do too. I don't know how they faired at the interview.

You are getting it wrong completely about ties.

4 Tips to B1/B2 US Visa Approval

(1) Demonstrate you have no intent to live in the USA. Before the interview begins, the consular officer Automatically
assumes you want to migrate to the USA. It is up to you to prove that that is not the case. It is up to you to demonstrate you have many good reasons to return and enjoy your life in your home country. How do you do that? By proving you are grounded in your home country by an established career, by business or property Investments, by your family and/or professional or social networks all based outside the usa.

(2) Demonstrate you can afford the travel. How do you prove that? While it is true that a sponsor in the USA can offer to pay for your trip and expenses typically the consulate does not pay much attention to that when considering to approve or deny. Being able to pay for your own trip and having plenty left over when you return to home country makes your visa application much more likely to succeed.

(3) Prepare what you will say in advance. The consular officer interviews many candidates on the same day. He/she is busy and likely stressed, prepare what you will say to him to quickly summarize your situation. Prepare a 1 minute ''Elevator Speech''. Say what you plan to do while in the USA, and be sure to confirm why you will return who is paying for the trip.

(4) Appear well dressed, confident and poised. You probably have heard the story or know someone personally who during their interview were denied within moments of appearing before the consular officer with their stack of documents untouched and not even glanced at. This is because the consular officer is busy. At some embassies he may interview as many as 100 applicants in one day. As such he will often rely on visual clues to make his decision. If he feels an applicant doesn't quite ''look'' like a potential tourist and instead looks somehow urgent or desperate to get to the USA, he won’t bother to continue. It will be ''denied'' and ''next''. The way to handle this is to dress appropriately and be calm and confident. After all this interview is not a life altering event it is only an administrative step needed to be taken before going on holiday. Overall about 70% of visitor visas are approved so if you are eligible and you follow these tips you should have a good chance of getting your Visa approved. Enjoy your holiday to the USA.

So don't get it twisted. Ties is not only about getting married and having children in your home country.

I really think it's you that do not understand about this ties thing. Judging by the last two transcripts how did the approved applicant prove home ties? You have to understand that the 214 B is generic. If ties ties then I don't think young, single, unemployed, people with no properties and those that don't dress well will get approved. It's mostly dependent on the purpose of travel and how to carry your self at the interview. My cousin was approved in February. He got the passport in January specifically for this trip. No wife, just started working, parents are the ones sponsoring the trip. He was able to speak clearly and not get intensed. He was asked five questions and was approved. You also have to accept that the VOs are human beings and as human beings we see things differently. Maybe my cousin would have been refused by a different VO. That's why when you're refused a visa and you reapply a different VO will look into your case.
There's no such thing as ties . Be able to defend what's on your form and have an interactive session with the VO and then thank me later

So what home ties does this applicant has that those medical doctors weren't having?
I want to be honest with you there's no such thing as home ties. If there's my cousin who just started working and not married wouldn't have gotten a 2 year visa. I strongly believe that it's 70 percent dependent on your purpose of travel and how you carry your self at the interview, how you answer those questions. The VOs are human beings like us and also have sense of humor so how you answer those questions is really important

Hi CallmeTonight. Those questions are still a part of the DS-160. A visa refusal by Canada does not disqualify an applicant for a US visa.

Thanks for answering my questions. Please I used three browsers yet those questions didn't displayed. I was able to submit the application without the questions

hello
Please I would like to know if the ds-160 has been modified. There are some questions that didn't displayed. The question regarding applicants work/education history didn't displayed and the question have you traveled before didn't.
Secondly, I once applied for a Canadian visa and was denied. Then time I was self employed and now am in business organization. I learned you have access to Canadian visa application form and I hope that won't be seen as inconsistencies
