People keep playing this fantasy football where Tinubu retains all his 8.7 million voters despite the very bad shape the country is in, even those who voted for him just because Buhari told them to.

But somehow in their fantasy game, Obi has lost supporters, someone who hasn’t insulted a single person, and has done nothing but good and charity and continue to build bridges across the country since the 2023 election.

You keep opening nonsense threads. Atiku’s 1st mistake was trying to outshine his master Obasanjo. But his fatal mistake was bringing Obi into prominence by making him his running mate in 2019.

Why was it a fatal mistake?
1: because OBI did not add any additional votes from the SE than they got under Jonathan in 2015, which is the purpose of a running mate. SE would never have voted for BBugari so he had nothing to lose 3 everything to gain by selecting a running mate from another region. instead he became the man who snatched away his date with destiny in 2023 by leaving the PDP with SE votes. He is also the one that will ensure he can’t win in 2027.

APC is in crisis mode. Peter Obi being on the ballot was their worst nightmare.

First, Tinubu delays his trip abroad on hearing that PO joined NDC, something he has never done with the level of senseless murders and insecurity in the country.

This same PO that made Tinubu delay his trip, Tinubu has never mentioned him in any of his criticisms, he rather kept criticizing Atiku. This tells you one thing, it was deliberate. The target on ADC was Peter Obi not Atiku. He was very careful not to mention PO so that people won't know PO was the target.

Now that PO left, they're no longer interested in de-registering or destroying ADC

I understand he too wants to resign so he can contest for Senate in the 2027 elections, since the Imo governorship elections are now off cycle. Hence why he wants to appoint his anointed successor as deputy governor now, to take over when he resigns. He probably feels a woman being governor after he leaves wont sit well with the people.

What’s so complicated in the ‘dispute’ that they couldn’t wrap everything up in two or three hours? They’ve already shown they’re aware of the urgency of the matter by expediting action on the hearing! The national assembly has shown us how fast an arm of gov’t can work if they really want to: in this present assembly, we’ve seen bills that had 1st reading…2nd reading…and gavel hit gbam!, passing it into law all within a day! Or is only when ‘emperor’ Tinubu wants something done fast that they buckle up and do it? Why is it so difficult for the supreme court to wrap everything up within a day on a simple matter that they’ve already ruled on in the past? The only reason i can think of for them dragging this issue is that they’re working for a higher authority in Aso-Rock who is terrified of having a viable opposition challenge him in 2027! Simple!
