TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by camnewton: 12:36pm On Sep 02, 2018
Hello There,

i have just completed my online degree from the University of derby UK and i am planning to go for graduation ceremony in November. The University will provide invitation letter and help for visit visa.

i would like to know this: Do i need something that tied me here in Cameroon to prove that i am coming back after graduation?

i do not have a job at the moment, but i am planning to get one soon.
if you have any suggestion, please advice.

regards,

hello house,

Anybody with right information should kindly assist me. l was banned by Uk embassy for 10 years which is going to lapse in 2019, but presently l need UK visa urgently, l have granted schengen visa last year. l don't know if its possible to request for the waiver of the band or l should wait till the time lapse.

Thank you
i do not think you can REQUEST a waiver for the ban. wait till 2019 to apply again. But let me tell you that you will need a lawyer while making a new application in 2019, if not your application will be rejected because of your bad immigration history.

can you advise or what to do, I came back from the uk last year October with a tourist visa which permit me to stay 6month, I have been to the uk 4 times but this last time i went i over stayed 10 days extra due to the date when my return ticket was booked. I am about return back to the uk with a valid visa on my passport please someone should advise me should i go to the embassy before traveling to know the penalty fine or do you think am going to bed sent back to Nigeria for my recent over staying, i have had 6 month visa and 2 years visa twice which is the last 2 years am about to use to return can someone help me with an advise if am gonna be deported for my over stayed while still having a valid visa?
If you have a VALID VISA, you are NOT going to be deported. It is valid.

BUT anything can happen at the airport, for example if you do not successfully answer questions about your immigration history (if they ask you), they can stop you from entering the UK.

men reject ladies because they have bad character, they smell bad and because of their bad history.

Hi guys. Please I would love to know if its possible for me to travel earlier than the date I stated on my application. For example, I stated that I would be leaving Nigeria on 7th February but decided to leave on 31st January. Will I have problems with entry clearance? Please I need experienced people to enlighten me on this, thanks.
you can travel from the date mentioned on your visa

That email is talking about student visa application and not visiting visa.

Were you given a vignette visa but you failed to travel to the UK within 30days?
thanks.
I have not received any visa. i did not mention a visiting visa. i have received this email yesterday.
i have applied for an administrative review because my tier 4 visa was refused because they said i am not a genuine student.
i have not received a response from my admin review yet.

this email is confusing me and i want to know if it is possible to receive it even if you have not received your tier 4 visa yet.

thanks in advance

Yes many here received such email and if you read this thread you will come across many of such email.
thank you for your response.
what about this email below:

"Good Afternoon.
Further to your overseas application for a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) we have been advised that you have not entered the United Kingdom. (UK).
Your 30 day vignette visa has now expired and as you have failed to collect your BRP, it has now been cancelled.
If you wish to travel to the UK, you will need to make a new application for ‘Leave to Enter the UK’.
For further information please consult the guidance on our website at https://www.gov.uk/visas-immigration."

is it possible to receive this email without having a visa yet?
thanks in advance.

Hello there, i am Cameroonian and i am new here.
i have applied for an admin review last month coz my application was refused because they said im not a genuine student .i have received an email two weeks ago saying:

".....Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.
....
We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection."

Now yesterday i have received this email:
"Good Afternoon.
Further to your overseas application for a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) we have been advised that you have not entered the United Kingdom. (UK).
Your 30 day vignette visa has now expired and as you have failed to collect your BRP, it has now been cancelled.
If you wish to travel to the UK, you will need to make a new application for ‘Leave to Enter the UK’.
For further information please consult the guidance on our website at https://www.gov.uk/visas-immigration."

what does that mean? has anyone here received this kind of email before?
thanks in advance
