Initially it can be said to be some sort of a choice but then as time goes on they are trapped - it's no longer a choice. Which ultimately eventually leads to bankruptcy!

No mind am. He does have a point about debt but he fails to realise that all debts are not the same. He also fails to acknowledge that it is somewhat a choice, rarely out of necessity.
He did say personal bankruptcy not corporate. But even then it’s still a tool they use to magically wipe out all the humongous debts they have accumulated.
