22nd Feb: Submitted my application (didn't do upfront medical. I had done my biometrics in an earlier application)
15th Apr: Issued medical request form on the portal
27th Apr: Did my medicals
14th May: Status changed to "passed medicals"
17th May: PPR

I finally got back my stamped passport yesterday.
However, I noticed the "issued at" indicated Nairobi although every other thing was accurate. I am aware they send the passports typically to Abuja to be stamped so I am surprised to see Nairobi instead of Abuja or Lagos. I applied in Nigeria I have never been to Nairobi

Is there anyone with a similar story

I have done biometric capturing for the tourist visa application.

Recently, I was offered admission by the Canadian university that I applied to

I am yet to receive a feedback regarding the status of my tourist visa application.

Please I want to ask if it is possible for me to apply for the study visa with the admission letter that I have been given despite applying for tourist visa already?

The answer is YES. You should go ahead and apply for a study permit. Whether or not you have a visitor visa, you MUST apply for a study permit to school in Canada. And the processing time for study permit is way shorter when compared to visitor visa.

I was in the same situation as well (had a visitor visa application in progress before I applied for the study visa).

For Lagos Office:

Walk into any DHL or UPS store, you can google & check for the one's near you.

This is the Address you will mail your documents to:

Canada Visa Application Centre
Ground Floor, The Manor
Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Lekki Phase 1
Lagos
Nigeria

Documents to go with to the DHL Office:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International Passport itself
- Passport request letter
- Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics)
-Two copies of signed VFS consent forms

Put everything in a Big Brown Envelope,

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly
Send your documents via DHL 2-way courier.

I have received my PPR. I will like to know how to submit my passport?
Do I need to register and apply for visa on vfs global website before I submit my passport? Or do I just walk into the VFS office and drop the passport? DO I pay any amount?

Hello people, I need help.

I applied for student visa and my application has been approved. I have been sent an email stating that I need to bring my passport within 30 days. However, I will not be available in the next 30 days as I will be out of the country.

Please how do I address this? Who can I contact?

Can I carry mote than $10,000 cash from Nigeria to Canada? Will it be seized by Immigration / customs? Any one experienced this before?
