Just finished Safe House.
Don't know why I thought I'd watched it already.

Workin' Moms.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli.

Acts of Vengeance.

FergieRaww:
Pls how is it? it has good ratings on IMDb

This is one dysfunctional family with superpowers. It's good, enjoyed it.

The Umbrella Academy.

oyaskii:
Out Tomorrow in Cinemas where i live...How was it?

It came out on the 8th here. There was some CGI that pulled me out, although it wasn't from the one I expected. Alita, the character, is one awesome piece of CGI, but the film left me with questions and has a case of sequelitis.

Alita: Battle Angel.

Russian Doll.

Velvet Buzzsaw.

Minemrys, you actually changed the thread name. **slow clap**

Minemrys:
well, thats cos its n0t out.

Err... Watchmen are DC characters.

Kingrapha:
Guy Ritchie....

hahaha he'll screw it up!

King Arthur was really disappointing but the fight scenes we're enjoyable...

I hope the action here is good too..

why does will Smith look bigger than he actually is ?

the monkey (forgot his name)... is the only accurate character.

Remember, the genie is huge and can change size and appearance. The CGI looks quite questionable in some places. Carpet looked good too. This time they actually made it the size of an actual carpet, not like the cartoon were it kept changing in size. Even Aladdin get k-leg sef. Oh well, I'll probably enjoy Will's voice.

iuwe:
Wow. so you are a fan of hers. She has done it BTW

Yup. I actually had to pause it, to rewatch the Aladdin trailer. I don't always agree with her views, but she's entertaining.

Okay. That was. A. Terrible. Terrible. Voice. This is what happens when you get distracted by the score. That was a guy that hasn't hit puberty voice. They might as well have dubbed the original actor's voice over him. That's sad. Saaaddd. The weird head thing going on for Will Smith suddenly gets a pass. TheKingIsWeird. Yup. That's a bad voice.

TheKingIsHere:
My main issue with this movie is the bad guy Jafar. The current guy acting this role failed woefully.

Try watching his part again in the trailer, you will feel my pain.

I'm honestly just tempted to find my Aladdin DVD you just watch the thing sef. I'll watch the trailer one more time.

TheKingIsHere:
I have a feeling that the movie may flop but who knows? It is just a trailer.

True, but to be honest, I had my doubts once I heard that Guy Ritchie would be directing. Guy likes to turn everybody into a London geezer. I'm gonna watch the beyond the trailer shot by shot. Agrrabah (?) looked good though.

TheKingIsHere:
You didn't hear a word because the guys voice sounds like a female

As for will Smith, it won't be easy looking exactly like the genie because the genie was too cartoonish. It will be difficult to look exactly like the genie in the cartoon

Guy, seriously, the only person I hear na Will Smith because the Arabian Nights instrumental had ended and was like guy, abeg you're not it.

Raalsalghul:
No need for all this my man. We kill ourselves here.
Mjbolt reminder: quote when MCU wins an oscar.
Note I said the MCU.

Quick reminder, don't confuse DCEU films with other films that use DC characters or MCU films with other films that use Marvel characters. Plus, they're folks out there that forget Hollywood likes to also mine from graphic novels (eg Road to Perdition & A History of Violence).

And let's be all frank, after all this fighting, nobody here is getting a cut of the profits. Plus, some of you no even contribute to the box office or home video revenue with all your 419 download. Cho, some of you even use free midnight data sef. So abeg, park your troll-cycle for corner. E don do.

TheKingIsHere:
Am surprised everyone is just complaining about how will Smith looks and overlooked how the other actors/actress didn't live up to the characters.

For example, the guy acting as Jafar doesn't fit the role at all. He is not as skinny and tall as Jafar neither does he have that deep evil voice.

Not impressed so far

To be honest, I didn't hear a single word he said, Will Smith was freaking me out from the freaking thumbnail. Plus, I kept singing Arabian Nights in my head.

**sighs**
**watches Aladdin trailer again** damn what did they do to Will Smith?! That head just looks weird. We knew he had ears, they didn't need to remind us by making it bigger.

TheKingIsHere:
I disagree

The Incredibles part 1 was a disney annimation and it won an oscar award.

So the battle between Spider-Verse and The Incredibles 2 is still a battle between 2 disney annimations.

Oscar will have to choose one of the two

No. Spider-Verse is Sony using a Marvel character. Remember Sony has the film rights for Spider-Man. Spidey has a special deal with Disney, hence why Spidey is in the MCU, but Sony still dey chop bar.

Minemrys, I already pointed that out already. Plus, you should put your comment after the quote command, not in the middle of it. It can get confusing.

Kingrapha:
Calm down bro

Not every thing is a fight.

The meme was actually very funny.

We don't always have to be on the defensive.

Mjbolt posts here, some guys here post there. it'll always be like that.

Yup. It would appear that some members of both sides like to have selective amnesia when it comes to the trolling. Geez, one of the reasons, I stopped regularly posting on this thread was that some folks turned it into a MCU bashing thread more than a DCEU thread.

lies.
black didn't win

See yourself, comprehending what you read is imperative. It's in the very link you used. Album of the year & score are not the same thing.

NB: I'm an hour behind (GMT), so as you can see, it's now sef. Don't let your bias get the better of you, it makes you look silly.

Anywho, Black Panther won a BAFTA yesterday for best visuals effects. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won as expected. Seriously, I'll keep saying this, it should have been nominated for best picture as well.

Escape Plan 2: Hades.

I might as well watch the sequel since it's also on Netflix, this will probably end my Action Sunday.

armadeo:
Is it the one with wesley snipes or mel gibson

Very forgettable.

Both actually. I enjoyed it, to be precise, the final fight. It was cheesy, funny and quippy, it's like watching an 80/90s actioner.

Escape Plan.

Action Sunday continues, but maybe with less gun play.

Close.

Action Sunday continues...

vasaratti:
What do you think of these? Which is your favourite?
Lalasticlala Cao

Not even gonna lie, that Sonic scares the hell out of me. Imma go with Fox, he looks badass.

Security.

I guess finally watching The Expendables 3 has now turned my Sunday into Action Sunday...
