Offpoint: The guy above me... delete your post before I wake up from sleep. I clicked the *reply" link before you. you may be at the top, but I'm the FTC.
And it took you 4 minutes to write this, and this is all you could do? All you FTC people, y'all can't help yourselves.
Plus, if they're going to play online multiplayer, they'll need a PS+ subscription. They need to make sure they buy the right one for the right region. E.g. Since my account is a UK one, I get a UK PS+ sub. Unfortunately, they isn't a PSN Nigeria, most folks on here usually use a PSN US account. I'm sure someone on here could help with that.
CloudKickin: Honestly, that game sucks you in, you might be lucky enough to leave your house in time before you start to develop rickets ha! I haven’t played it in a while too, Assassins Creed Origins has taken up most of my time since its release in October. I’ll get back into Overwatch soon though (probably not the best time since I’m about to start my Nysc) for a little while before Detroit: Become Human comes out next month.
I'm really looking forward to DBH, the short time I had on the demo was worth the queue. Although, I need to clear the games that I've already got before I even consider. I'd need to actually put in work, if I ever go back into Overwatch.
CloudKickin: I feel like I did the majority of my gaming whilst at university, during my final year (last year) I was still able to game during exams season (gaming was my version of taking a break from studying) and I still managed to graduate with a first class degree. I’m sure you’ll be able to handle both gaming and work. I’d recommend getting Overwatch first, it can get addictive which results in hours of fun!
Overwatch?! You want the guy to never leave his house? The only game I've ever put in over 200 hours. Haven't played it since November. I'm afraid if I go back, I may never leave.
directonpc: This is like me thinking out loud. I used to be a big fan of video games, then I decided to venture into tech entrepreneurship. I had to learn coding and burn hours online everyday promoting some of my products and services.
All these left me playing very little or no games, and even advising some of my close pals to reduce the time they spend playing games.
I think I want to return to gaming. Maybe I can managing gaming and work as a software developer. I have a lot of catching up to do. But I guess this board on Nairaland will help me.
You could even try expanding into game development...
Kaziar: Yeah, its weird but in a really good way. The story concept was also unique. I've been looking for some of his books too, tried a lot of bookshops but they are unfamiliar with his works. Hopefully, I'll get lucky.
I've got his hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy books, but still haven't read them. My friend's a big fan of his. Although, I've read his contemporary, Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. Good kind of acquired weird. Best anthropomorphic personification of Death you're ever gonna get in fiction. Plus, he talks in small caps.
Anywho, watching Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency from season 1 again.
Don't mind me. It's as sweet as the first watchdogs. And there is alot of cultural history, landmarks and artifacts you enjoy sight-seeing in the game(which is probably why Cao loves it)
But the game is really not that bad. Just play it without the intention of hacking every thing you see
I've actively avoided Watchdogs 2 because I'm still pissed with the first one with all the folks that kept hacking me every bloody time.
Anywho, since you want to wallow in your frustration. Do you, uncle midlife crisis. Continue with your debasement. Enjoy your mediocrity, uncle midlife crisis. I've got better things to do. I shall ignore you accordingly. Bye Felicia.
Tomb Raider has history. First it was seen as the female Indiana Jones, did its thing, after a long run, it faded. Only for Uncharted to rise and became the male Tomb Raider, then it really made its mark with each subsequent entry, that when Tomb Raider rebooted itself, it became known as the female Uncharted.
TheBulusNotes: Yap true but can you buy a 500,000 gaming pc just to play xbox exclusives
Or a below 150k xb1 console
Yap xbox have no. Exclusives but price wise
And games like Forza horizon.... DAMN
Many people buy ps for exclusives Xbox for hardware and xbl
But. Mostly people buy consoles for cheap
I use gaming PC (the master race)
Finally, just like I said then, XO has an exclusives problem. That's the issue with some folks here, they don't read with understanding. The PS4 frankly has better and more exclusives. Plus, they even have exclusives that are truly exclusives (only available on the PS4). Hardware wise, it's simply the XOX that is the most powerful console as their PR folks like to remind us. But remember, its base console was less powerful than the PS4's.
Plus, as the previous generation showed us, being the most powerful doesn't mean it would lead the race. On paper, the PS3 was a beast & it was even the cheapest blu-ray player, but the 360 was easier for third party devs to create games on. While, the least powerful console, the Wii, beat everybody.
In the era of x360 it was so but now Xbox and Windows 10 are now one.....any exclusive on Xbox is on. Windows 10
And any game you buy on xbl is automatically bought on Windows 10 Microsoft store,,, for one price you get both worlds
Also xbl games are cheaper since xbl supports naira and Nigeria
There are still separate entities, mate. I've already mentioned Xbox Play Anywhere feature several times already. It's even in the post everybody keeps quoting. Hence why, it's never truly an XO exclusive. Meaning, it actually lessens the need to buy the XO as it's not the only platform where you can play a particular game.
I am past the age where I mindlessly hate on a console because of my loyalty to the other. If I had the money, I'd get both. I am however biased towards the Xbox.
My first console after the N64 was the Xbox, and it served me and my brothers very well. 4 players straight out the box, and Halo 2. Bought in 2003, it's still alive and kicking, though it's been softmodded, and the hard drive is dying. A lot of my best gaming experiences were on the Xbox, so I've got to go with them.
I have no hate for Sony or the Playstation, however, my first experience with a Sony console was terrible. The PS2 Slim I had came with a couple of games, most notably The Force Unleashed, which I really enjoyed. However, the memory card formula was terrible, and as a result, I had to beat the game after about 6 straight hours seeing as I didn't have one. What really annoyed me however was the fact the stupid thing stopped working after what was probably 6 months. Laser problem or something. A pretty console, but it really didn't hold up.
Nowadays however, I don't have any of the latest consoles, nor do I know anything about the current exclusives on either, and if I was to pick I'd actually go Switch, but between the contenders here, it's Xbox for me based on history. I'm familiar with their franchises in Halo, Gears, and Forza. Plus, the Xbox One S controller I use is fabulous.
Damn my PS2 slim still works. Sorry that soured your PS2 ex perience. HyDef came in with the proper mature talk, thanks for that. XO controller was not made for my hands at all at all. The original Xbox controller is way too big. Like I always say, XO controllers were made for ham fisted people. If I've had a particularly stressfull day at work with a trigger friendly XO title, my fingers (especially my pinkies) will be on fire. Controller wise, the PS3 was king, my fingers fit nicely on everything.
lexander: need i remind you xbox is a microsoft product so its still exclusive
Need I remind you that Xbox and Windows work as two separate entities owned by Microsoft? They don't even share profits. This is just like how Disney owns Marvel and LucasArts. Different entities. Not the same thing. So I repeat, Xboys, tell us the XO only exclusives.
lestat: You talk like a 5 year old, I don't argue with children.
I can afford any and all consoles and I tell you the xboxone is way better
You can't so you argue for what you can afford
I see you don't have anything worthy to say. Someone that has named themselves after a vampire. I can't take you seriously either. Go and use that money to buy yourself some sense. It's not too late to improve yourself, there's still time.
sorextee: I no wan bliv say Na girl analyze these whole thing. Im still in shook. Im sure u go sabi score freekick for Fifa. One of d most difficult task for me. Although Na me no put head learn am sha. Nice write up sha. But i dey suspect say u be guy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs1ryUiLLXU Since I'm too lazy to repeat myself, here's me trying to sing while watching Mercy doing the hustle. I wonder if I'll ever go back to playing Overwatch?
