Star Trek: Discovery.

Bright.

Chylo:
Lol. It actually is a better show, in my opinion anyway. The whole point of Trek was to make commentary on burning social issues, this Orville does perfectly with great comedy to boot. I've watched TOS through recently again and it still stands up to the time test. I like how every episode is different (unlike discovery) rather than serialized. The captain was more likeable and capable as a leader, he always knew what to do no matter how dire the situation.

That's why it's your opinion. I prefer Discovery.

Chylo:
Was boring before, got better in this second half of the season. Still rate TOS to be by far better.
Also, The Orville by Seth Macfarlane seems to be more star trek like than Discovery.

Abeg, all you Orville people enough already. Even with all its Trekkie-ness doesn't make it a better show, so make we hear word. People rate TOS highly simply because it's the original and folks got their rose tinted glasses on.

Black Panther is currently on 100% ON RT after 50 reviews and 87 on Metacritic.
I especially love the fact that they're saying the black panther mythos was not lost in all the action, and that Michael B Jordan is a dope classic villain.
As if my hype levels weren't enough already

There's one negative review (3/5). Apparently, the guy wanted Black Panther to fight more. The internet responded, they were very very vocal. They were not happy, at all. It was a trending moment on Twitter.

Star Trek: Discovery.

Khonvicted:
Is it dope?

Just started episode 5, so far so good. I like the premise of humans extending their lives by moving their consciousness to another body.

Altered Carbon.

Kaziar:
Yeah, the second season is even better than the first. The good place Is so good I'm back peddling on episodes just so it doesn't finish.

I know! As much as I liked the premise of the first season, I see how they realised that premise wouldn't hold up forever, so they pulled the rug under us the first chance they got.

It's like The Good Place will keep reinventing itself with each season and I'm fine with that.

Anywho, watching Grace & Frankie.

armadeo:
how was it?

Like I said - just as expected. It's well acted, well produced and well directed. Typical awards fodder. Meryl Streep can act, we know that, she'd probably act as nylon bag if she was asked to.

Just finished watching The Post. Just as expected.

Kaziar:
Hey, how's the show or more aptly put how would you rate it?

Three episodes in and I'm really liking the show - the family, it's unapologetic blackness and the acting is definitely above CW's usual. Although, BL's suit is a tad silly, but it gets the job done.

Black Lightning.

Gungnir:
Interesting series, where did you download it from?

I'm watching it on Netflix.

Dirty Money.

Time to depress myself with this Netflix documentary series.

Gungnir:
Madam, no vex carry on with your series.

Like I was going to stop before...

Gungnir:
Didn't mention it because I was observing you and perhaps one day you will post something i could engage you in...

But, today it was itching you, you had to scratch.
