Some say a doctor knows no rest , others say same regarding engineers....

I am aware that both disciplines are proffessional and only the strongest scale through.... How is the life of an engineer/doctor after uni

destino24: Agricultural and bioresource engineering (as it is called now) is a correlation of mechanical, civil, electrical, computer and metallurgical engineering. We build machines that help in agriculture, food processing and environmental sustainability (mechanical).

We construct irrigational and drainage systems, including simple structures. (civil) (nb: a COREN registered agricultural and bioresource engineer can supervise the building of a less complex structure (2 storey building and below).

We electrify farmsteads, construct electrical circuits for the machines we design (electrical)

We program and install integrated circuits and micro-controllers for use in agricultural based machines to attain optimum user-friendliness (computer)

We study and research on the best metals and it's alloys to use in the construction and design of simple and complex machines for increased machine efficiency (metallurgical)

With this points, Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering is obviously better than mechanical engineering.

MINE: As i just saw my positive admission status, i became sad and grumbled within as i was not given my dream course...I was given bio education instead of chem engineering or ind chem.... I later showed my dad and he was jubilating....

Yes; someone was telling me that the uni i graduate from really matters to employers.
Look at this case:
Okoro finished from FED UNI OF TECH YOLA chemical engineering with a first class of degree and Adams finished from Unizik with same class of degree in same course.. My guy was saying that Adams will be employed b4 okoro even if he graduated with a 2nd class upper.

He was trying to emphasize dat '' the skool one finishes from really matters during employment. Is this true
