mentorandfriend: You have to deal with that fear. Human cadavers are preserved with formaldehyde chemical. It is lifeless. Besides you wear gloves to touch them during dissection. No medicine without 18 months of anatomy o. Dont let fear kill your dream.
Thank u brother.

mentorandfriend: What are your strengths? If you are very good in mathematics and physics, but bad in biology, you have to go for engineering.
Sir, I am very good in Biology and even the maths... i had always nurtured this dream of studying either medicine or pharmacy but on the long run I deviated. Chiefly because I think I can't dissect cadavers, Lol, yea, a friend of mine told me about how one would work on real corpses, and I developed a phobia immediately. Is there a branch of medicine that doesn't deal with cadavershuh

Weird heading righthuh Okay, this thread is officially for those nairalanders who have been full members since time immemorial but are not popular or brought to the limelight, maybe because they are introverts, shy, don't like commenting, etc. In other words, this is a thread for nairalanders that are not as popular as people like Yuzedo,Thorerah,MzMariah, fynestboi, engrflames,Elantracey, Obinoscopy, TribalEast,Richie, Jayrus to mention but a few.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Reasons Your Relatives Can’t Help You Get A Job Where They Work by Capableben(m): 4:29pm On Jul 24, 2014
Syenite: Unemployed youths should not have this defeatist attitude that the only way to get a job is by connection.

The truth and whole truth still remains that a good number of companies still recruit based on merit. Fact that u know someone who never wrote any test and got a job in a company does nt mean that there are no people who ever get jobs through the transparent recruitment process.

My advice to fresh graduates is that don't pay attention to people with the "u need connection to get the job" attitude. They will make u feel like a loser and defeated even before the job search. Mind the kind of job seekers u associate urself with or listen to. Believe me when ur mind is defeated ur life will be defeated.

MOST companies still recruit on merit. I was once in the labour market. I have moved from one establishement to the other. I never knew anyone.

The truth is people who probably didn't do well in school are using this "no connection no job" lies to console themselves and make u feel like all ur study efforts were in vain.

Keep searching, keep preparing for aptitude tests and interviews and b persistent. Believe in God and very importantly also believe in urself and that dream or desired job will be urs.
. Pls which school did u finish from sir? Does school really matter when it comes to employmenthuh
EducationBsc And B.tech: Compare And Contrast by Capableben(op): 12:25am On Jul 24, 2014
Okay To my best of knowledge, Bsc is awarded to graduates of conventional universities(eg OAU, UNN) while B.tech is awarded to graduates of technological universities (e.g Futyola, Futminna).
Now considering the economic setup of Naija, let's talk.
Wat are the advantages each one presents?
What are their main differences?
Etc Let's talk, Witty students of Nairaland.
EducationBsc And B.tech: Compare And Contrast. by Capableben(op): 8:16pm On Jul 23, 2014
Okay The Bsc is the one conferred on graduates of conventional universities (e.g OAU, UNN) while the B.tech is awarded to graduates of technological universities (e.g Futyola. Futminna).
With reference to the Nigerian economic setup, let's compare and contrast the two.
Advantages each one presents, flexibility, nature, etc .
Greatest Nigerian students let's chat and demystify facts.

greatestman: Out of 55 courses I offered.

I have:
33 A's
16 B's
4 C's
2 D's

No F yet and Having A does not really impress me that much.
One Academic session left.
Hoping and praying not to get F, nobody is above F.
