Everton rivalry is the fiercer rivalry Sha...The reason many think is not fierce now it's cuz Everton have not won anything reasonable for a long time so the tension exist mostly before, during and aftermath of derby days...The rivalry with man utd is based on both the strength of the two teams as the two most successful clubs in England as well as cultural as the people of Liverpool (scousers) do not see themselves as English but scouse, in that way it's not really different from Barca (Catalonia) and Madrid...That being said, even if man utd fails to win anything for 50 years the rivalry would still be fierce, just see the rivalry b/w Leeds and utd which is not half as fierce as that with Liverpool and the vitriol when the two clubs met in Epl after close to 15 yrs...

The noms and category were evenly distributed according to the strength of each show imo, Succession just happened to be better in my of these categories hence the much noms. Why BCS had a fantastic season, it's still ongoing, same with Strangers Things that just concluded weeks ago of which tho they qualified for the this Emmy Window, there wasn't enough ample time to consider them, heck, BCS had an episode out on Monday, while Succession finished way back in December 2021. Severance, BCS and Succession were truly the best of best this window hence them slugging it out for the "Outstanding Drama category" but other areas Succession is eons above. Take for example "Supporting cast" I can only mention Patricia Arquette that had a memorable performance from "Severance " but Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen, Kieran Culkin and Nicholas Braun had memorable performances....so are you begining to see why the Noms for Succession was much?

LoL Braun had a nothing performance...I can call 10 better performance that deserve to be there, same with Smith Cameron who did nothing all season but be roman masturbation tool...And don't get me started on guest actor & actress where it got 8 nominations mostly for actors doing nothing...

I know 25 noms for "Succession" looks like an overkill but trust me it is worth it. The S3 was so well done and probably the best tv drama from last year. Apart from "Stranger Things" and "Squid Game" ( i didn't even get why there was a craze for this". , Other networks didn't have the titles to rival what HBO did last year or at least in the Emmy Window. Succession,Barry, Hacks, Insecure, Scenes from a Marriage, Love Life, Minx and Station Eleven etc were some of the best titles from last year, all from HBO/HBomax. Netflix and co really need to up thier game, at least Apple Tv and Amazon Prime are even trying by investing heavily on ambitious project with a lot of potential unlike Netflix who picks up any tom, dick and harry that walks through thier doors with a script in hand.

Not denying the quality but there were more deserving shows who could have been represented instead of namechecking succession everywhere...I mean no directing Noms for stranger things and BCS ( Better call Saul) but 3 for succession??...Stranger things also got shut out of acting while succession got 16, BCS 2 and Severance 4.... It's pretty ridiculous, and btw both Severance and BCS had better seasons than succession so how can you rationalize 23 noms for 1 show...Even breaking bad and the sopranos did not get 23 noms...

Omo I'm a big fan of Ed but that song didn't work for me, their voice do not blend well at all...I listened for the 2nd time and it's not my worst track tho, the 1st half of the album was bland (apart from science, that shii is peak burna) and was carried by the 2nd half...It was just the weakest of the back half which I thought was excellent....
